    Hello,

    when I bought my 360 Modena about one year ago in Italy, I got the keys and a small device with "PSYCHO" inscribed and "TO ACTIVATE IT YOU MUST PUSH THE INSIDE SWITCH". Any idea what it's for? Maybe GPS tracking device, in case the car gets stolen?

    thanks for your help!

    Psyco seems to be the name of a model of antitheft system made by a Hungarian company called Patrol Line.

    http://www.patrolline.eu (they don't even list this Psyco model anymore)

    A couple of pics I found (might not be the exact model you have)

    From the first link and from what I've found while Googling for it, it looks like it's primarily used on motorcycles and scooters. It looks like it's also offered by Yamaha as original aftermarket accessory.

    I don't find the pictures particularly confidence-inspiring. It looks to me like an amateurish system imported from China. Mangled english on the label reinforces that feeling. The company website looks sketchy as well.

    I'd yank it off and replace it with something decent.

    ...these pictures obviously show the same device! I also got feedback from the garage in the meantime: They assume too that it is an old anti theft device. I am wondering if the other parts in the pics are still somewhere in the car. However, thanks for your help! Appreciate it.

    @BEWKABAILEY:
    If you open the "black box" and activate it, a small red LED is lighting up. No explosion whatsoever :-D

    Maybe you just didn't see it... better call the previous owner and ask if something in his garage exploded :)
