Guys, sorry if this late, but what was the conclusion on the Air France flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris that disapeared over the Atlantic? I know an intensive investigation by Brazilian Navy and French Government brought parts from the ocean's floor, but has any report been issued yet? Thanks.

    stupid pilots. stupid plane

Not sure that is the official wording, only thing that could have made it worse was Asiana pilots at the controls

Conclusion was that if pilot had kept his hands off the controls for the 30 seconds the pitot tube was frozen they would have make it to CDG w/o any trouble whatsoever.

    Actually, maybe not...

The Asiana pilots were NOT 'at the controls'. They were just sitting there.

The AF plane probably would have recovered by itself if one person had not been pulling the stick back the entire time.

But Wong's class mate at flight school was at the stick of AF447 Jacques Crashteau :-D I have a feeling that they both ditched "Airman ship 101" and went to the beach that day!!!!
