I saw this A6G 2000 Zagato at a concours near Chicago today. Pictures of this car were posted a few weeks ago in the classic Ferrari section and is owned by a very nice area collector.

#2107! A very fine example and owned by a forum member!
Hope to see it one day back in its original light "baby" blue colour!

Beautiful restoration with the exception of that dryer hose running through the engine bay.
    What's up with that?

A cooling vent/hose the owner installed that can be removed. These cars have very little cockpit ventilation.

    Beautiful!
This is the car featured in Octane's March issue this year, right?

Yes, also owner did Tour Auto celebrating Zagato, with an early retirement as successively hit a pheasant ( I was following him) on the motorway and then exploded the distributor, a complex piece of machinery. Did the the MM the following year, I was there too.

I remember the car behind me when I hit the pheasant in France. It was a red Ferrari 212 and after I hit the bird I looked in the mirror just to see you run over it. That was really one dead bird. Lots of fun till my distributor imploded.

The 2012 MM was much better for us, other than finishing almost last we were still running at the end-what car were you in? We plan on trying again for 2014-if you are there let us know.

As far as the 3500 Touring convertible at Gooding next month-estimate $1,100,000 to $1,300,000-pretty optimistic but who knows?
