Looks to me like the door is the same size but the "notch" in the door is longer on the white car.

I overlay-ed these two photos. I matched up the wheels on both photos and made the low body photo somewhat transparent. Lambo did a masterful job of making the high body. As you can see the bottom of the rocker panel lines up pretty well along with the wheels. But on the low body the front air dam is lower, the car is shorter front and back and it is lower all over. Almost everything is a little different.

    Cheers Jim

Nice. This is something I've wanted to see fgr a long time.

Finally you can actually see where the changes were actually made. Check out how much closer the NACA duct is to the Bertone badge on the lowbody, the difference in the dimensions of the door and how much deeper the body is on the highbody.

This also illustrates how the factory was able to make these changes, yet retain the windscreen dimensions and rake.

    Fantastic stuff!

Thanks Jim. I remember when I first published peices on the S1, S2, and S3 Lowbody cars about a dozen years ago, many were up in arms declaring the nonexistence of these cars! Now they are universally accepted.

No. I saw this Countach in person on Friday at Goodwood and it is neither Blu Acapulco nor Blu Tahiti.

Yes, I think it is late 77 or early 78. Was converted to S spec in Sydney based originally on one of the early Wolf cars. Then got the sun roof and finally the targa top when he took it racing. A car that was driven hard and often when Paul had it

    Yes.

    The famous Halstead Countach.
I like the previous Wolf-style flares.

Over the years I have seen the car in all its versions - from narrow to now. I saw it at Lolita when Henry was doing the conversion and I thought it was just the coolest thing. I have always liked the Wolf style version best!

A blue early Countach with some special options used to be in Iran and I've hears it was exported to Malaysia in mid 2000's.
Does anyone have anything about it?

Thanks. This is why I have been asked here same kind of side views of Countaches. LP400S, QV and 25th model are still more or less missing.
If some one finds one, 1024 sized, good quality full side view of these ones, private message or something is OK to send! :)

I recently went to the Lamborghini museum and thought this Countach design model was pretty neat. It's interesting to see what it could have looked like. Sorry if this has been posted before.

There are a number of perfect side views of the 25th on the Anniversary thread and a number of great side views of the other cars on this thread. I'm getting frustrated just
watching you say no to all of these. But, it's your business. No diss intended.

There is an in-period modified Countach that looks somewhat similar, but I'll can't recall who built it right now...
