Thanks Peter. I am a photojournalist and shoot quite a bit of panning images. It's my favorite way to capture the feeling of these cars. I do hand-hold and work with shutter-speeds between 1/8 th and 1/100th of a second. It depends on the speed of the car, bike or whatever I'm shooting. My lens of choice is the Canon 200 mm F-2. Sharpest optics I've ever used. The big secret is to plan a spot where you can smoothly pan just like a tennis stroke or anything with repetitive motion and follow through.. And LOTS of practice. Thanks again Bob
Thanks...my wife and I fell in love with our house the first time we drove past it. But I have to say, it's always missed something, a Ferrari makes any background look better!
Nope...just the result of a previous owner using a jack improperly and bending the sheetmetal just in front of the tire. I'll probably get it repaired one of these days, but it's only noticeable from a low angle like this shot...which I was stupid enough to post!
I have EXACTLY the same dent but mine looks slightly more noticeable. But not at all from standing normal view unless pointed out. It is the VERY last thing I'll fix.
YEP. Most likely. Again, it is a few years off before I get it fixed. When I pull the engine to replace the sodium valves then I'll likely do it.
Me too. It's almost impossible to see from most angles...once everything else is perfect, I might get it fixed!
A friend came by to snap a few photos for his portfolio. We will be using the car in an upcoming photo shoot for his company. Should get some pretty cool shots out of it including and a possible commercial. Image Unavailable, Please Login
2 More. You can see the piping on the driver seat falling apart. :/ Gotta get the fixed! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My own '89 GTB too, like a lot of our cars, so I take care when I take pictures (sorry if this is a repost?) She still has her indent line not repainted black yet; the more I see her in full red dress, the more I like her this way. And by the way, in that picture she was not too far from where Constance lives, so she could perhaps have fixed that damaged rocker panel... Rgds Image Unavailable, Please Login
No because that's not the frame, it's an area of sheet teal that gets abuse when people are jacking the car. Easy to fix.
Haven't posted at the model specific forums for a while, but after a nice drive last weekend I felt like sharing some pics of my '80 GTSi. Enjoy! Same on mine. I suspect several are a result of a mechanic not checking the clearance of the lift arm.
I just took this one and posted it to my garage but I kinda dig the profile look Image Unavailable, Please Login
