Guys I have a question-- whats the best rev range to keep the engine in say while city driving at slow speeds under 50-60 mph to prevent clutch slippage and enhance clutch longevity?

I can only tell you what I do. I keep the revs above 2000. In my '07 599, 2000 rpm in 6th equals 50 MPH.

Fmr mgr of FOW once told me 3k was optimal for the health of my 360 motor. Would love an educated opinion on the same for the 612. OP didnt specify which car, 612 or 599. No idea if it makes a difference. Me personally on the 612, highway cruising in 6th at 2k, roads with stoplights I'll won't go much below 3k. Fun, 4k and up.

EDIT: Should point out that the former mgr of FOW said it was optimal to not drive extended distances at low RPM and recommended 3k and above, on the 360 FWIW. Wasn't very clear about that.

I was talking about the 612. Thanks and thanks! Also I read that stopping the car fully at lights and not moving forward unless you have a good bit of space in front works better for the clutch life by preventing slip caused by inching forward in traffic and braking often.

I drop to neutral every time I stop (and know I'll be stopped for more than a few seconds) - to be clear I'm talking about stopping at lights, not in slow moving traffic.
