DH was too eager to remove some stuff after autocross and lapping and now there are 3 areas with marring on the hood, not visible unless looking at it directly in particular light.
Supposed to do a beauty show soon. WHat can I do to remove the traces without changing the whole hood clear bra? Plastic varnish? Polishing did not work.
    Thanks

I also have Ventureshield on my FCar and I notice it is quite susceptible to scuff marks. While it may protect paint from chips, it doesn't handle being rubbed against very well. It also cannot withstand light contact with alcohol. I had to polish out some of this nonsense recently.

What worked for me was 3M Plastic Polish. I've used this stuff for about 15-20 years. 3M Plastic Polish works like a very fine abrasive but it doesn't leave any marks. It even works on tarnished metals. You need a lot of elbow grease but by the same virtue it's also a pretty safe product. I haven't tried Vega-Plexus and it looks interesting. I'll have to see if the local stores carry it.
