Uh, not just any Solstice...I think it was the special Murcielago version. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Let's reflect on that for a moment. Although this forum is called Ferrari Chat, every single day someone posts a sighting of a Lambo, or McLaren or Porsche. As ridiculous as it may seem for someone to post a Solstice sighting, maybe this forum has veered so far off course that this is the (il)logical result. Perhaps if everyone stuck with the raison d'etre of this forum we wouldn't be subjected to irrelevant postings.
I understand your point. I do believe that the majority of members would probably agree that spots of Lambos, McLarens, or other "exotic" cars might be worth posting. A Solstice lies so far off the deep end of the spectrum that I don't know whether that Spotted post was sarcasm or legitimate. Truly perplexed.
I guess it all depends on where you live i guess because any type of sports cars are rare spot for me let alone exotics. Maybe im just not on the road on enough. I'll make sure not to mention any soltices next time
Welcome to the forum, Arjun. Don't mind the big kids, they can be a little less than welcoming sometimes I grew up in Mississauga and still visit my parents there at least once a week or so. There are tons of sports cars there, as well as meets! I think Wednesday nights in the Applewood Plaza is a classics cruise night, and on Friday nights a bunch of sports cars get together in the abandoned Rona parking lot at Winston Churchill & Argentia. Just keep your eyes peeled, there are tons of Porsches, Corvettes, Ferraris, and pretty much every mainstream/premium sports car you can think of tooling around Mississauga every day!
Thanks. I see them occasionally just not as much as i'd like to. What i'd love to see is an R8 or an SLS AMG but i havent been able to spot one out in the wild yet. Hopefully i will soon.
Sorry, forgot the pic, this was taken by a colleague of mine. So technically I haven't spotted it either Image Unavailable, Please Login
Doesn't count as a bona fide spot....he's not wearing the mouse helmet. Hmm cool ride, check out the plates: http://www.inautonews.com/deadmau5-buys-ferrari-458-italia#.UfJkqb-9Kc2 Chris
Yes it is pretty cool especially since he is local. He called me 3 weeks ago or so to locate him a Spider. Unfortunately, by the time I found one he had already pulled the trigger on this white one down south. He is a very cool cat to say the least. Love his music too. Maybe ill get him on the next one
I didn't know he lived here enough to want to own exotics to drive around daily (Drake too), that's cool nonetheless, and totally agree that his music is awesome. I saw an F12 for the first time ever today, pulling into the Shell gas station on Hwy 7 before Pine Valley. No pic unfortunately though. A couple of km's later, Ferrari Italia Spider with a black roof! http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t126/Murcielago6/ItaliaSpider_zps28e72e73.jpg
The F12 is STUNNING in person. Saw it sitting at the dealer as I drove past. Pics definitely don't do it justice.
Saw this twice yesterday. At Grand Touring in Maple. Then downtown in Little Italy... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I also spotted a certain, popular matte black Maserati being followed by a Vantage Cab and green Cayman on Eglinton and Islington area
Spotted an metallic burnt orange aventador yesterday on the 401. Pretty neat colour, no pic, i was driving myself
Here is my quality spot of the week. Yellow Carrera GT on 400 southbound. Image Unavailable, Please Login
