For a while, BRADAN was regularly posting threads detailing their amazing work restoring Ferraris of all types, but that seems to have stopped. Anyone know why?

Some good, some not so good results of Ferrari service promoted by themselves here. F-Chatter Valenzo's Mondial t major there a few years back turned into a soap opera with over 20,000 views.

Tooting your own horn on a internet chat can sometimes come back to haunt you. IMHO.

Still around as far as I know....lots of cars underway.

That Mondial WAS a problem......but 'it happens"...

The only thing that bugged me was the "one way" narration of their photos, if someone ever asked for additional info or reasons for 'why' they did something....there was deafening silence.

    Odd, I thought.

I personally will never forget that JPG of them hosing down the Testarossa engine compartment as part of "restoration". With a garden hose.

I like their threads and hope they continue posting, I can understand why they would not want to provide detailed responses to questions, I think its great that they share pictures of what they are doing in the first place, not a lot of workshops would do that.

I believe they have recently moved their shop to increase capacity. My car is there now and the project seems to be moving along nicely. They have had excellent email communication with photo updates all along the way.

We moved our shop this spring/summer into a larger facility 40 min closer to Manhattan. The whole process has been over overwhelming but we are getting settled in now. Right now our offices and body shop are still under construction so I have been running the whole business off my Iphone. Once the move and construction is complete I will be posting again and throw an open house.

I included some photos of our service bays before epoxy floors.

Makes you wonder why anyone would be brave or stupid enough to do that here when even those with decades of knowledge and experience who are routinely sought after by other shops as advisors are pounced on by the idiotic armchair experts of FerrariDebate.

You can't post a picture of a kitten here without some asshat trying to argue it isn't that cute.

That cross-eyed fuzzball of a kitten was indeed ugly. Get over it.

If we assume surviving is an essential part of the path to victory this is a great step along the way. Surviving FerrariChat's cross examinations there is a true trial by fire.

After this (us) all else could be cake walks.

Yes, but only for triple distilled ionized water. Only a complete idiot would use unfiltered.

In the case of BRADAN I think they were putting up more with the "decades of knowledge and experience" vs. the "armchair experts". I agree with SCousineau about putting up with the fire, BRADAN has done well. I would like to sell all other shops document everything in detail like BRADAN.

Futureman, V-Twelve and Nathan: I am laughing out loud. A well played series of posts! Also glad that the future for Bradan has never been brighter. Now all they need is a TV show on the Discovery Channel.

When you don't bolt down a steering column, then yes, someone (pro or no) should call you to the carpet for possibly causing a serious accident. That's one thing. Getting picked apart by someone who a.) doesn't even own a Ferrari and/or b.) has never done anything but change their oil would make both the expert and novice professional steer clear for fear of false bad PR.

And if a pro shop is getting picked apart, why would a DIYer like myself even dare to post any work I've done?

We need an equivalent meme to "Do you even lift, bro?"

"Do you even own a Ferrari, bro?"
"Do you even know which end the engine is in, bro?"

Something like that. It's still a work in progress. :)

I took my 550 to get smogged. The tech asked me to pop open the trunk. I obliged. His eyes almost popped out of his head when he asked, "Where did the engine go?"
