Yes...great contribution!!! Just today I decided to place my order and today arrived the first pics..Still around 40 days before to see her at the official preview...I love the exhaust...Tks again
No question, totally agree. Keen to get a better understanding of the 458 Scud "active aero" in the rear, a touch of La Ferrari tech? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Great pictures from your son. I would buy one just to admire the exhausts! This is going to be a special car. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Those rear tires look huge and wheels look great. Aero vents front bumper corners likely some at rear fenders as well. Nice! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Thanks so much for catching this and posting. As you can tell, there is great interest. There is much you can tell from the photos. In addition to what has been said, it appears that the side panels are stock Italia-- that is they are not widened. There is a hint of an outward taper along the sill in front of the rear wheel opening.
Wow, this 2 pictures shows a bunch of new features, I am so excited!!! evdzwet, thank you so much for sharing
It could be a little bit faster in few tracks..Sure not on straight..where Scud will simply offer much much more.I would have ordered the new Rs if Scud would not exist.I love Gt3 series but simply I can't see any aspect in which they are better if not for the price and operative costs. So it could be better "choice" if you track the car very often but this doesn't mean a better car.Don't forget that Gt3 has lost it seems, her original soul with so many changes arrived with the new model. It will be faster than in the past..but to recover the original soul will take time and efforts. And soul is almost everything when you spend a whole day with this kind of cars.I don't think that the new Scud will have anything to learn in this segment..
I am always hoping they will put a little air scoop in front of the rear wheels, like this rendering. Notice the side sill is missing on this car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
How could it be faster with 100 less hp on the same weight? The only thing guarantee is better is a lower price.
Aesthetically underwhelming as far as I can see so far. No wider flares as some speculated earlier. Wheels look pretty ugly, but lightweight. The drive better wet my pants.
Could this be the car...? There was a short video on twitter this morning... My image posting isn't working like normal. Anyone know why?
Thanks for posting - This one looks like it's ready for presentation once the covers are taken off. Makes me think we will probably see a web launch well before the Frankfurt auto show Hard to tell how the wheels will look from this angle but so far so good
On my Italia, the front tire sidewall is considerably shorter than the rear tire sidewall. The front tire sidewall on the car in the picture is at least as tall as the rear tire sidewall. Also, looks like a Lexan rear window.
Yes. The sill is gone. You may get your wish on the air scoop in front of the rear wheels. There is something there. As for the front, there is too much disguise but I can't make out the deformable winglets in the air opening. There are either not there or just too dark in the photo..
I love not having the sill, is more sleek. There is a bulge in front of the rear wheels. They are trying to hide the more aggressively styled front bumper. I love spotting differences on spy pics like these, the anticipation is exciting
I noticed that too, the front tire sidewall definitely look taller, they probably went to a 245/35 from today's 235/35.
I think you are right. In the current 458, you can suppress the sill by ordering the "sport sill" which simply blacks it out. This accentuates the rear wheel "pontoon" look. But some like the sill as is and order it body color.
