Meh card. Can't get excited about DJ, I'm not sure if its his fighting style or size. Hope Ellenberger knocks Rory the f-ck out and lawler wins.

Already looking ahead to bendo and pettis.

I am not complaining, since it's a free show.

I like watching the smaller guys - always ridiculous speed and action.

Ellenberger/MacDonald will be very interesting. Ellenberger can give any fighter problems, but Rory is ridiculously well-rounded. I see Ellenberger trying to get Rory to the ground, and going to work from there.

I am interested in seeing Chiesa/Masvidal, as well as Guillard/Danzig.

Hey, why not. a fun card to watch for free. I'd love to see Ellenberger beat down MacDonald. Lawler is someone I hope does well. I love his all out style.

Yes, I am. Its the third one in Seattle and have gone to the other two.
They are a lot of fun to attend - you can watch the fights easier on PPV , but the energy at a live event rocks.

Definitely. The wife and I have been to three, two in Vegas and one in Milwaukee. We're going to UFC 164 in Milwaukee at the end of August also.

The last fight we went to, Cain v. Dos Santos 2 was unreal. The atmosphere was truly electric. I've been to countless sporting events and have never experienced a more alive, intense crowd. Seats were expensive as hell, but more than worth it.

Pettis fighting in front of his home crowd? Gonna be gang busters. Been waiting for this rematch since the end of WEC.

Yeah, it should be a great time, I was thrilled when Pettis got the nod, but there's nothing like a Vegas fight crowd. The last UFC we went to in Milwaukee was a rather young crowd. It doesn't create the same atmosphere, but it was still a great time. Tickets are about 1/3 Vegas prices so that helps too.

I lived in Vegas during some of boxing's biggest fights, it's so much fun when the whole city is talking about fight night. It's really something no other city in the world can recreate. The UFC now is creating a similar buzz during their big fight weeks. The city is just epic and how it supports these sort of events is unreal. I need to move back.

I have been to a few non-UFC events, and only 1 UFC event, when they were last in Detroit. It was awesome - BJ KO'd Hughes quickly, and Machida/Rampage was great as well. Hopefully, the UFC will be back in Detroit sometime soon.....

Well fights were meh as expected. Lawler looked good. Rory and Ellenberger was so boring. Had much higher expectations for this bout. Hopefully condit fights rory and shuts him up. DJ mauled his way to a victory easily unanimous 50-45 but at least he got a submission. Fight was so one sided I fell asleep.

DJ looked GREAT. A solid Champion 4 sure! Good for Lawler. I just like watching that guy fight. He's a beast. The Jake and Rory fight was a waste of pre fight energy for me. I was so pumped for that fight. I thought it was one of the best match ups of the year. The fight was BORING.

The Ellenberg/Rory fight was SO boring. Was boo'd the whole fight.

Guilliard's KO of Danzig was brutal. He was out for a while. They had doctors rush in the ring. He stood up and fell over a couple times before getting to his feet. When they announced the decision, Dan Hardy was standing next to him to make sure he didn't fall over.

The Mighty Mouse fight was awesome. Only real high energy fight of the night....

Korean Zombie vs. Aldo tonight..........does the Zombie have a chance?

Davis/Machida will be interesting as well.

Don't know if this fight is booked yet, but I have heard that Maia will fight Shields. Talk about a wicked BJJ matchup!

Zombie (I Feel) doesn't have a chance. Is he even that good????? The Machida vs Davis fight will be very interesting. To total different style fighters.
    Dan,
Did you get a chance to watch the last Bellator? WOW, What GREAT fights.

I don't know guys, I think the Zombie has a chance. He continually moves forward, and does so through anything. He has very good standup, and a great ground game as well. Heck, he's the 1st UFC fighter to ever pull off a twister on Leonard Garcia - it was beautiful! The ever important key is avoiding Aldo's leg kicks - those are absolutely brutal. If he starts connecting with those, it's game over for anyone.

I hope Ian McCall can finally get his UFC career on track. I fear he may get cut if he suffers another loss.

The card doesn't jump out at me, and I was reluctant to pay for it. I ended up doing so, because of the title fight. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Armen, I didn't see the last Bellator event, but may have it sitting on my DVR. Which fights in particular would you say are "must sees", or were they all really good?

Well, If you have a minute, Watch Michael Chandler. Im a HUGE fan!!!! And I Think Ben Askren fight was AMAZING. I never seen a fighter control like he did. He made it look so easy. I keep thinking he's gonna loose each fight and then he just DOMINATES!!!!! Pitbull Freire fight was fun too... (if you have another minute.)
That Bellator card was WAY more exciting than tonight's UFC. I thought almost every fight was boring on the main caed.

Wow two crappy cards in a row. Machida got robbed and Zombie didn't press for submission or try and gas Aldo. Really tentative fighting by Zombir. That AC dislocation was horrible to watch.

Unfortunately, Bellator is not one of the recordings on my DVR.......I'll try to catch a replay of it.

I agree, I though Machida won as well.

I thought Jung was doing fairly well. He certainly stunned Aldo a few times, and looked capable of delivering some more damage as the fight went on. Such a shame to suffer that injury. I really want to see a rematch.

I have to disagree. A rematch of Aldo and Zombie isn't something i'd like to see again.

Really? Outside of Frankie Edgar, I think Jung was giving Aldo more trouble than any of his other opponents as of late.............

Who would you like to see Aldo go against next? Too bad him facing Pettis didn't work out.......
