Nothing surprising, it was just sold by "Chantilly Prestiges" 2 weeks ago, so the new owner is playing with his new toy...
A 1990 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Rosso Perlato/Crema with 971 kms, as new, UK registration is available for 175,000 Euros/approx. $230,000 US.
BTW - did anything come of posting pics of the red Anniversary being restored that you mentioned earlier in the thread?
Thanks for ALL of your information Joe!!!!! I ( as all of do ) enjoy each post you ad. You are a self sustaining thread supplier at times and keep them progressing forward! Do you know any more info regarding the 971km car? Assuming its in as new condition, has there been much work completed to bring the asking price? I am pleasantly surprised to see such a strong price. My 89 has recently turned 2k kms after being bought with 855 kms on the clock. I have been told every km I put on my car will drive the value down but being a dream come true car for me I feel my 1145 kms are much needed to preserve the car vs harm it. Any views guys? It's nice to see prices in the positive direction.
Nothing unfortunately, I offered the connections a venue to showcase the car's resto, but, I haven't heard a thing and I'm not even sure the resto is ongoing. I must confess I haven't had the time to follow up, but will do.
I know scant little about the 971kms car, although what info I have comes from an impeccable source. I will ask. Having said that, Bob Forstner has 12028 with 5,000 miles asking $245k and has turned down offers over $200k so far whilst not being in a hurry to sell. Bear in mind these cars bring more in Europe than in the USA at the moment, so its open hunting season in the USA. This month alone 2 USA 25ths are in the process of leaving to the Middle East, where conditions & climate make fuel-injection an advantage. The drain on the population of USA cars domiciled in the USA continues.

the "dream" is already finished... this car is since yesterday in a garage for mechanical troubles... a fight between its new owner and the trader who sold it...
