Thanks. The GT3 RS is a great car and a lot of fun. But there's no way it's going to beat a 458 with similar rubber and drivers.

I think we'll see the same difference between the 918 and LaFerrari, especially in acceleration.

Would love to see what a Carrera GT on contemporary tires could do. It was the oldest in that group and the tires fitted at factory were marginal even when new. Better quality tires in that size are now available

Dude, give it up! Seriously, no one gives a crap about the Ring and Ring times. You like it so much, go live there and lap it to your heart's content. The rest of the world will continue to buy the clearly inferior factory Ferraris and enjoy them.

And please make your next special better looking than the P4/5. It may pay homage to this and that, but the end result is fairly hideous except for the back end.

Ring timing may not be important to everyone but important enough that almost all manufacturers to test their cars there. What Jim has done with the P4/5 is a major achievement for an individual, let alone a car company. I feel your comments are out of line and rude.

    Very correct.
The Carrera GT is a real beast.
With ten years old tire techonology (Michelin Pilot Sport),
The carrera GT still holding lap record in Balocco Langhe (in Balocco Alfa romeo proving ground) that is almost a mini -nurburgring.
A true masterpiece with about 70 patents filled during the develpment.

Not sure we are looking at the same table, but I see the GT3RS 4.0 did 7:30.4 and the 458 did it in 7:37.8.

The GT3 is armed with a special KW chassis suspension for the nürburgring and Semi slicks not a real fair comparison its more a marketing thing

I wouldn't be surprised to see p1's being resold under msrp as I bet not all have been originally sold at the known figures. Especially to whom bought more than one of them.

And I don't think any LaF customer has been allowed to buy more than one.

I would, but I don't expect them to appreciate in the way that previous Fxx cars have.

will the LaF really increase in value too?

I think they will appreciate. When all is said and done, 375 is really a tiny number, esp today with buyers from China, Russia, South America, Middle east. It wouldnt surprise me if a 100 of them end up in these new markets.
