I agree - nozzle and cover are missing. Vents may be changed as they are covered.

Great new pictures - thanks evdzwet & son. Big time scoop and exclusive for you, you should watermark the pics.

Anyway, new shots confirm some of my previous observations:

I agree that the rear lip looks higher. See esp. pix in Post 443. Thank you Ferrari for not just adding a lip spoiler.

Front bumper has deeper apron, rear deck lid with more pronounced spoiler. More front and rear downforce.

The high position on the exhaust outlet will allow a more pronounced rear diffuser, even more downforce.

Michelin has just released the new Pilot Sport Cup 2, very sticky tire, and very likely the tire could make it on the 458 Scuderia, this new tire alone could drop over 1 second at Fiorano.

Rear rotors look bigger, very likely 380mm (compared to 350mm in the Italia). Rear brakes have been overheating on the tracked 458s.

I hope they add cheap but effective brake cooling ducts, they did it with the last track day car they made (599 GTO), so they should do it this time.

There is an easy way to drop 220 lbs on this car, using the same formula as the Stradale and Scuderia.

I know what you mean, sort of like the Audi R8, the V8 have 4 exhaust tips and the V10 have 2 big oval tips. The same arrangement on their S and RS lines too. Sometimes it feels like the 4 tips looks more powerful, especially if someone don't know the facts.

i sharpened some of the lines that look to exist underneath the camo covers. to me it looks like the hood has been recessed in a U shape with a center intake a la laferrari. it also looks like the corners of the front bumper are getting the 430 treatment, with there being vents there for maybe brake cooling or something of the sort. also looks like in the corners of the front grill there may be the brake duct gills like what the f12 has. i didnt highlight that though because im not too convinced.

This was certainly my day...I had the incredible chance to see her and I am sure I will disappoint many of you since I decided not to post the pics .Too delicate..
All started today, early afternoon. I felt, I really felt that I had to go to Maranello, because I was sure I would have seen something . The target was to find around, the prototype spotted by Evdzwet in the last period, but I found probably what will be the final version of the Scud. I even found a test mule of another Scud with some new wheels, but this is actually secondary..
I was just waiting and waiting close to the company and finally something different appeared to my eyes. A truck with a completely covered car..I immediately noticed the double exhausts and I started to follow the truck by car. I took the pics attached. It was so strange to be at less than 20 feet by her..It was almost possible to touch her ..Then after a short trip, the truck entered in another building, remaining visible by the road. I told myself...probably they will download the car and probably she will be visible.
I parked the car close to the building and it simply happened. I have seen the Scud , I have seen the stripes, I have seen many details ...and took some pics ofcourse.
I was not so close but was enought to see some of the differences they will probably introduce. The car was looking at me by behind and when the workers removed the covering I simply was shocked.I was really feeling the adrenaline for the whole situation I was living. They even started the engine to park her and let me say that the Italian word "arrabbiato" is perfect to describe the sound she is capable to deliver.
The rear seems to me wider, and there are some new interesting air intakes around the car. There are other news in the front and sure you will not be disappointed.Very aggressive. The rear of the car btw is magnificent and gives at the end a nice masculine effect .Quite a different looking rear I would say.The wheels were the same as the ones spotted recently. I decided not to post the pics for several reasons. I feel unrespectful against the workers that could have problems (possibly) in case I post the pics...and against Ferrari too, since they are trying, seriously, to hide all the details of this car. And at the end let me say I would not like to get even problems in case I would post the pics. I know you could say, why to write about this experience so, if you will not post the pics?
because we are all (I think) passionate people and because beleive me I felt really excited for this big experience (my sixth sense told me today...go there!!!) and probably I need to share with someone what happened, to calm down a little, sharing what is possible to share at this stage. I hope you will appreciate that I will post the pics after the car will be introduced officially in the market , (this just to avoid that someone here will think I am playing..).
So in short: expect a great great, fabolous car. And if someone in this Forum is right, with 620 hp, and around 220 lbs less..and sticky new Michelin...I suspect that this car will be really a beast...From what I have seen, I promise, you will not be disappointed..This car will be a real winner.Tks Ferrari...
Ps: I know, my English is funny.I made my best:)

    @savageulm

I applaud you for not posting pictures of the final product.

It is respectful with all the workers that have put many hours into this special version.

The downside of the 458 Italia is the excessive weight gained over the F430, and this new 458 track-day car will resolve that, and add power, and add grip, and add more aggressive lines.

I agree, it will no disappoint, not even at $320k-$350k in U.S.

    Thanks

Looks like it (more similar to LaFerrari), which begs the question: Where's the trunk compartment going to be? There's only so much space behind the seats...

This is true but this is not a 458 GranTurismo, but a sports car brutal and aggressive ... how much I charge this waiting!

In the F12 and California they are bonet vents for engine cooling. Could be some form of active aero flaps to increase downforce at high speed??

Well, I would still need some space for the car cover bag, a helmet and track gear at the very least!

Oh my..it looks gorgeous. It seems that it has the small rear ''duck tail'' in the trunk as 430 Scud!
