Where do the 2 greens wires go to that originate at the AC dryer. Is there a schematic for the AC wiring? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hmm, that is the low pressure switch and if it's similar to the early 308 schematic, then those should go to the fuse box. I will check this evening.
OK, I think one goes to the a/c relay and the other goes to the high pressure switch. More later when I can dive into the bay and get a good look.
One of the wires goes to the high pressure switch (also has only two wires), and the other goes to the right radiator fan relay 86 terminal
It is the low pressure sensor and disables the clutch to prevent constant run of the compressor when Freon is low as that can burn the compressor out. I'm 1000 miles from my wiring bundle so I'm recalling from memory but I believe the 308 is different and the Dino does not have an AC connection to the radiator fan and the downstream ground occurs at the compressor clutch. Don't you also have a thermistor on the other side of that sensor? Here is my system Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the help. I found a wiring diagram of the AC in the factory service abstract and blew it up so I could see it!!! All is well in Dino land. glad you found that. So I see one wire indeed goes to the high pressure switch and does the other go to the right fan relay, or??? I looked at a 365 Boxer diagram and it also goes to the right fan relay.... thanks Jon
The low pressure sensor prevents A/C compressor run on which can cause it to fail. The temperature sensor prevents freeze up. They're in series because it is a ground activated magnetic compressor clutch
