There is a Nero Metallizzato that sat around for a long time, perhaps this is the same car now sporting yellowed (French-spec) driving lamps? Image Unavailable, Please Login

unfortunately the trader doesn't want to cover the expenses to fix it... it may stay longer than initially believed due to a trial to claim the warranty application ! something is wrong with the transfer of my pics, I don't have them on my PC, I try to fix it or I will ask for new pics.
Joe with so few cars available for sale what is the price range for a 25th anniversary car and how does that compare to where the cars have been trading over the last few years. What are maintenance costs like if you want to drive the cars a few thousand miles per year and these days are you better getting the car maintained at a authorized Lambo dealer or an indie shop?
Quick answer: I think cars are asking anywhere from $110k to $175k in the USA with the wide spread being the norm as with all models ranging from the good, the bad & the ugly. As with all cars, the very best can ask anything. I think they are up a little, but in my book its only because many have disappeared overseas. Maintenance costs are impossible to say unless we know what we are starting with. There are some years we have spent nothing on ours, and other years $10k on major maintenance. All depends! Being a 23/24 year old car an idie shop might be good, but these are straight-forward fuelie cars in the USA and I see quite a few at Lamborghini dealers receiving routine maintenance. Your choice really.
Connecticut in the summer. Peter is this you?? If so you have been spotted! Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, not me. There was a Lamborghini event at the Limerock Park raceway earlier last month, in July. I'm not sure that the track photo is from Limerock, (maybe I shouldn't have linked these together.) This could be a CT or NY car as Limerock is near the NY boarder, if the two photos are related. The car looks great.
Thx Joe. So I guess $150k should buy a nice car? My local Porsche dealer in Southampton NY has one for sale 851 mile red 25th anniversary car he's asking $195k but the car's not perfect, if one wants to drive the car I'm guessing you would want one with miles on it.
Not necessarily. I found my car with 855 km on it. It had a lot of updating to the tires, brakes, fuel system, and misc. items making it reliable and road worthy. It was odd driving a 20+ year old car and going through a break- in process. I enjoy every minute I get my car. My wife calls her the " other" woman. I would suggest speaking with others before pulling the trigger. The guys on here know so many cars.
Thx Peter, where is best to look form the cars in and around NYC? I had a look at Interstate Autosports website earlier today, but I'm not sure where else to look?
So far as it hasn't been abused, the deferred maintenance can be done and you have a nice low-mileage car, as Peter suggests.
Yes that was coming off Limerock. Meanwhile this 25th is challenging the factory car for the most-photographed! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry I don't know of a best place to look. There are many shops that may get a Countach in forsale. Look in current & older DuPont Registry's, Hemming's, Goggle searches, ect... I came across mine calling to find information on another Countach. Mine wasn't advertised forsale when I called, it just felt like all my stars aligned and I took a flight to see it. Make a lot of calls, and plan on taking a few flights to see the cars that spark an interest to you. Guys like Joe Sackey, Roy Cats, and a few others here, deal with these everyday. They buy and sell them, but would, IMO, be where you want to start. They would know cars that aren't yet forsale but at one point may have been considered being sold by the owner. They may have past clients who bought a Countach with the intent of keeping it a few years and moving on to something else. Their back ground on a car can be very important good or bad. Hope this helps. Peter
Black mirrors?? Wow silver shows every angle and detail beautifully, but I still like my Rosso Siviglia.
It has only one black aftermarket mirror, has had it for years, dunno why. Yes, this Rosso Siviglia 25th at Chelsea Wharf in London rocked. Image Unavailable, Please Login
