What a great thread. Sad I missed it! Bravo... bravo thank you for the good laughs everyone
Once we had an inkling of who he was, it was a simple matter of determined excavation & subsequent cross-referencing.
This can't be real. Do people really act this bizarre? wow just wow. This is by far the most entertaining reality "show" I've seen in ages. Forget reality tv, give me my reality Fchat.
Try this one on for size: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/288gto-f40-f50-enzo-laferrari/129040-mdm-eurotics.html It gets good pretty fast.
Oh god how I miss the old Dr S smackdowns. This has been a great one... but isn't this the first liar/poseur who turned out to actually OWN a Ferrari? I mean- owning a silver 355 is not enough to show off to a bunch of anonymous guys on the internet??
We had this one idiot that was close about two years ago. His BF had a red 348 or 355 and he was all over the net saying it was his. He threatened EVERY ONE and a couple of threads were nuked. (sad) For the life of me I can not remember who he was.
And you CAN rehibilitate yourself! Start here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/south-central-usa-tn-ms-al-ga/17229-atlanta-spotters-thread-188.html After an FChat thumping... this guy is fine in my book now.
How did I miss the opportunity to post cat pictures? Bernardo had all the fun What am I going to do with all these cats living at my house now? Image Unavailable, Please Login
That sounds vaguely familiar.... was this guy in Arizona, by any chance - or am I confusing him with someone else?
Hello all, I am new here. I like this forum and I have been impressed with the way you all handled this idiot and Dr. Strangelove's detective work. I just finished reading the whole thread. I have been on various forums/mailing lists for 20 years and this one seems to have an ideal mix of fun, humor, information, off-topic forums, and friendly banter. I have a few questions: 1. Since you guys seem to be able to track down the history for all cars under the sun, can anyone tell me more about my CS which I posted for sale the other day? Is the first owner here of F-Chat? If so, I have a couple of questions for him/her. I searched for the VIN across all forums and didn't find anything useful. One was the thread asking for F-Chat users with CS cars and the other was someone asking about the history back in 2009 with no response. 2. Am I welcome to stick around after I sell my Ferrari? I know I can keep my subscription going, but since I'm new and not really a member of the community yet, I'm just curious how many people here are current vs. former owners. I like reading the off-topic politics and religion thread plus I would like to continue to learn more about Ferraris. I really like the older cars, but it seems they are all insanely expensive now except for the 330 2+2s. It seems that more than a few forum members also have Porsches. I may buy another Ferrari someday, but I have limited money and garage space - unlike the OP. 3. Can you offer any feedback about my asking price? It was a shot in the dark based on what I saw as market asking prices. I see some people posting on other For Sale threads that the price is a bit much or a good deal. There haven't been any comments on my thread yet regarding price or condition although I know everyone was busy with this ass clown. I apologize if this post is hijacking this thread. That isn't my intention although I can see how it might possibly be seen that way. If so, please let me know and I'll edit my post and move my questions to a more appropriate thread or threads. Thanks all! Robert
Hi Robert, Of course you are very welcome to participate without continued Ferrari ownership, so please do stay! FerrariChat is a place for shared interests and not just an owners only club. Take me for example, I have never owned a Ferrari but really have my heart set on a 348 and have a timeline all planned out for getting myself into ownership. In the meantime, I enjoy living the Ferrari dream vicariously with others on here - I find owners are typically very encouraging of those working hard to achieve their dreams in a similar manner to themselves. All the best, Andrew.
Time for a greatest hits summary. How about this post on 7/31 at 8:53 AM. His last post was at 10:05 AM, only an hour and twelve minutes later!!! Wont stop or quit, only just begun?
Anyone that uses this phrase "You guys are easy marks!" should tell you something. I have never uttered or written that sentence in my entire life, nor heard it from anyone I associate with.
Ha this one is still going storng. Some people have too much free time on their hands.. Including myself I guess. Ok, time to be productive...
Heck, he "quit" his real estate license sure enough! One last one for Ryan.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
