Why is the F12 mostly Rosso Mugello?

Hello sorry I meant Rosso Fuoco,

Is there a reason why Ferrari mostly unveil their F12 in rosso fuoco instead of Rosso Corsa? And why so many owners prefer that colour over rosso corsa? Is it mainly because the F12's design looks a lot better in a slightly darker red?

Any thoughts?

The launch color was Rosso Berlinetta.

 

Was in Monaco 3 weeks ago, and I saw 10-12 F12s while there. Most of them where silver, saw only 1 red F12.. Wondered about that

 

I saw a rosso corsa F12 a couple weeks ago and it was PERFECT. I spent half an hour looking it over.

Agree with "the Mayor" It's R.Marinello and the color I ordered on my F12 (now a 60)sitting for the month of Aug,alone ,without attention! Boo Hoo.

 

Me too. I saw a white one (meh- in my mind anyway), argento (nice), black (sinister but loses too much of the lines), and then the Rosso Corsa one. The F12 side profile reminds me a lot of the 275 and I think the Rosso Corsa brings me back to that a little more than white or silver.

 

I don't know if Todd did this one but will ask.
