someone has the gift of extreme over exaggeration, maybe $10K, but that's it

those aren't even on their current wheels lineup, so bet is they are discontinued models even

Probably because it is Vossens's project car, they think that they're going to sell it in a so high price. Well. they won't!

Maybe they are forged out of solid GOLD?!? Can't see any other way they would be worth $1mil. I do like how they require a $500 deposit on a $1.3mil car though!! ;)

There is a thread in the 458 section that this was simply a publicity stunt by Vossen - Personally, I think they are crap at $10, $100, $1000 etc...

At least when Asanti sold a set of wheels for a million dollars, you get a free body guard and you could always pry the diamonds out of them and sell them.

If the wheels are a mil the rest of the car fetches 280K.
Keep the wheels. I'll bring my own.

Definitely a publicity stunt. Get people talking about your product. Relatively cheap advertising and using social media to carry it. That is all.

I definitely have to agree with all of you; this is just a publicity stunt. The wheels are WAY over priced. Even if you buy Voirsteiner, ISS Forged, or ADV.1 wheels they are not worth nearly that much.

Black wheels are always worth more - a lot more...especially if they are so large that the tire sidewalls disappear

That's the law governing aftermarket wheels and tires

Personally, I'd keep the stock wheels - even though they are mundane - and not spend the extra $1m, but I am too old to matter

I can build you a forging die set and CNC fixturing for half that price. Alloy chemistry development and paint job on me. Want to add decals or LED's?, no probs.

Insuring those against road rash would be like insuring Dolly Parton's tits...
