    Looks like a spider. I've seen 2 of these almost go up in flames when the hydraulics failed and sprayed hot fluid on the motor/exhaust. In both of those cases others nearby had a fire extinguisher handy. Guess that didn't happen in this case.

    It happened a few years ago at Toys for Tots Run at the Hard Rock parking lot. I believe Martin had a fire extinguisher handy and saved the car. A 430 Spider putting his top up after drive over from FMFL.

    Yeah that was one. I think the fire extinguisher was Edward's. I saw it again about a year later in Palm Beach. Different car that time but exact same issue.

    That "handy fire extinguisher" appears to be a worthwhile option!

    I could only see pulling your F430 into your garage and it going up in flames, only to burn down your house. Ugh.
