Has anyone had success in selling their 308/328 by posting on FerrariAds? Any suggestions on where to place an ad? Thank you for the comments. Gary

I have my 82 listed and have only had a few calls. I have it on Craig's List and have had 5tire kickers wasting my time. One,what sounded like it was for real, started out by saying he had a body shop and was a mechanic. He then asked if it was OK to have a PPI and I responded by welcoming the inspection. Then the next request was to bring the 308 to get a PPI almost 400mi away. My point is that it is a niche market and a small niche at that!

I carefully watched, and followed up on, cars on FerrariAds and that is where I found the car I own now. I would recommend selling through FerrairAds, just do not expect immediate results. Potential buyers will get more help here than anywhere else, and this is the pool of most serious buyers as well.

I sold a non-Ferrari through the ads section last year. Great transaction. Go for it.

Wouldn't you place an ad selling a Ferrari in the "Ferrari's" section of FerrariAds? ;)

Most items I see on Ferrariads are over-priced. The ones that are reasonable gets sold almost immediately. So I guess it depends whether you really want to sell it or not.

I purchased my car from ferrariads. It had been advertised for about a year. I wasn't on Fchat, my neighbor told me about the site and the car. And here I am, at about 4 years of ownership.

I sold my '84 Mondial QV and my '78 308 GTS through FerrariAds. And they both sold relatively quickly. I posted ads on Craigs List and got no interest. I currently have an ad on CL for my 2004 Jaguar VandenPlas, and the only call I got was from a "broker" who was going to do me a favor and pay me less than half what I was looking for. I'm thinking about posting it on AutoTrader, but just not sure if it is worth the money. I'm curious to find out where other people have had success these days. Gone are the days when I just put an ad in the local paper and sold a car in one weekend. Oh well.

p.s. I also bought my current 328 through an ad in FerrariAds, so I guess it does work both ways.

Bought my 328 a few yerrs ago from a FerrariAds listing. Car was about 70 miles from my home. Great seller and a great car. Think you find serious buyers and sellers on a devoted Ferrari sight rather then Craigs list. Good luck with your purchase or sale.

I sold my 328 GTB last year on FerrariAds. Maybe 10 days in all or something along those lines.

I'd say try it along with craigslist since the price is right :) If no luck try eBay, autotrader and cars.com then you've covered them all. I find success advertising in more places than one myself.

I sold my F430 for $5k below my asking price to an F-Chatter and he sold it again using the FerrariAds to another F-Chat member. I want to someday buy it back.

I look all the time. I'd rather buy from someone here than someone I don't know on Ebay or Cars.com.

If I were ever to consider selling my 308, this would be the only site that I would use. It would, I am confident, be passed on to someone that would keep her alive and well cared for, the way I did.

I am looking for a 328 and I have pretty much decided that ferrariads is where I will buy my car from. I will be especially motivated if its an active member.
