Here's a shot of my 16M with the SF skyline as a backdrop. These cars are just amazing. I drive mine nearly every day to work.

I saw this car in person and it's in great shape. I didn't really go over it but I had a peak :). My only complaint is leather interior.

Update on this thread, looking at my first post over a year ago, prices have held strong on the 16M.
I thought they would drop close to $200k but I haven't seen any current 16M's selling for under $229k. So I couldn't wait any longer and took the plunge. The car is a phenomenal transition from my 430 spider. Don't know why I waited.

UK prices have moved upwards, cars are now approx. £10K-£15K more than 2 years ago.

I have a strong feeling 16m pricing is going to creep up also , if it doesn't creep up I think we are seeing the lower price range on them.

16m is a special car for a special buyer.

I'm surprised to see such little depreciation. If 230k is the average low of the 16M, then that is only a 25% depreciation for a 4 year old car.
I know my 09 DBS is already less than half it's original value.

Have other Ferrari lines held this strong within 5 years of its production? CS, GTO?
Newer 458's are already lower than 16M's....
I wonder how the 458 Scud will do and how the 458 Scud 16/17M will do if and when it comes out.

Average 16m sticker in the US was around $340 I think. Average asking is still $250+, so a bit more more than 25% depr to asking (more to selling, although not easy to tell selling prices on average, i am aware of a few that actually sold in the $235 range in 2012). Many 16m's have sat with $270+ asking prices over the past year. There are a lot for sale as a percentage of number made right now. My speculation is the 458 spider has resulted in some incremental 16m's coming to market.

Regardless, great car, has held value well. What's not to like?!?

Maybe this will help explain it a bit more. Nothing quite like it.

Is there a wide margin of overall useability of a 458 or is the 16M really that good

I have a 355 and ready to make the jump, the 16M is just so awesome

When my time comes the 16M is on the table. When during the FCA weekend is this vid from? ... if that was Sunday, either Randy or I were driving the Scud you passed exiting T3. Nice Stilo helmet too!

    Agreed!

Nice to see the 16M on track!
I would love to test it out as well and if I do will post a vid as well.

I'd second the recommendation to anyone on the fence about buying a 16M. Fantastic car! And full disclosure, I'm the guy least likely to hang a Ferrari flag in my garage. I'm a huge car enthusiast and don't buy a car/brand for the lifestyle aspect, I care about the driving experience.

The 16M checks all my boxes thus far. Eager to see how it does on the track. :)

Out of the total 499 built, approximately 150 came to the US.
I can't find a definite answer, but the consensus seems to be about 150 US spec 16M's.
