    For those of you that don't know what this thread is about, Enders game started life as a science fiction short story by Orson Scott Card in 1977. I read it about that time. It was such a good story, the author turned it into a novel. It's been a topseller ever since.

    The movie comes out in November, and I can't wait. I've read the book 3 or 4 times, and both of my sons have read it too. It's a favorite around my house. I know there will parts of the story that I won't like, as always happens when a good book is turned into a movie, but I'm anxious to 'see' the bugs and battle school.

    Great book and a great cast.

    My hopes are high.... and I bet won't be met.

    My thoughts as well, which is why I won't be the first one in line to see it. Certainly DO plan to give it a look though!

    It either going to be really good, or really bad.

    I was offered the licensing rights SEVERAL times.... everybody passed on this.

    I think: flop coming --but I have no real insights. I know the storyline pretty well and it seems too video gamey too me. Sort of like "The Bad News Bears" in space. :)

    It's being set up as a trilogy, which to me always means the story is drawn out too much in the first one.
