My ride in a silver Enzo!

Recently I had the opportunity to experience a truly awesome ride in a friend's special Enzo. It's not a " common " red Enzo with stock exhaust, but it's a rare exemplar finished in Argento Nurburgring and to make it even more awesome it's fitted with straight pipes! Awesome! does your friend live in Monaco? What other cars does he have? I think I've seen that enzo in Monte Carlo before.

 

A truly amazing machine, surely the best Ferrari till the arrival of the LaFerrari!!! Still nothing beats a red example IMHO though.

Thanks for posting. As Bill S will tell you, its all in the driving with the Enzo. Definitely a worthy member of the Ferrari Supercar lineage.

 

It's a good friend of mine, if you notice his video is different, he went with me during the videoshoot.

 

I'm not sure if I would ever get used to driving quickly on a narrow road a rocky wall on one side, a CLIFF heading down a mountain on the other, and slower cars coming at me!

I'm sure all that is pretty exciting at less than 40mph in any car!

Magical. Still one of the best and most revered cars of all time, 11 years after its introduction.

 

The best Ferrari till the arrival of the LaFerrari, for the 'contemporary production' is the F12 to me. I'm talking about performance, look is objective.

But the Enzo in silver looks awesome!

 

True. The Enzo might have a slight advantage at very high speeds though as it has a higher top speed but overall the F12 is quicker.

Exactly, the F12 during the Quattroruote test confirmed the ability to achieve unreachable performance by the Enzo, on both tipology, on rolling runs and standing start runs. The only thing the Enzo win is the top speed of about 10 km/h higher than the F12.

Marco, can you ask your friend what is the set up for his exhaust? It says straight pipes, but made by who?

 

If God had a car...

 

LOL, the F12 is also more than a decade newer, with more advanced technology, than the Enzo.

 

But the Enzo is the only Ferrari Supercar of this last decade which can be compared closely to the F12. Both invaded by the electronics, both equipped with electro-gearshifts, both equipped ceramic brakes and both within the closer percentage of power to weight ratio.
