pics released of the new 458 Speciale. Frankfurt auto show upcoming.

Looks sick....and, any time they increase hp, reduce weight, and eliminate all the luxury crap for the posers, it is a step in the right direction!!

I like all Scuds, but unless you're going to use them on the track regularly, I can't get used to the stripped interiors with no leather and rubber mats. Call me a poser if you want, but for the real world advantages in performance gained and the extra money, not worth it to me if I'd be able to afford one. Now, having said that, the exterior does look awesome. Probably even better without the stripe.

I agree. I owned a Scuderia and a Stradale. On the track, inferior to the equivalent Challenge cars. On the street, added unusable performance and a hard, loud ride. Amazing cars, I get it, but ....

Perhaps Ferrari is now going the Porsche/Lambo route and cranking out special additions with minor, yet substantive variations to milk their purchaser base?

Hey, nothing wrong with that- just pretty transparent, that's all.

Looks like it. Porsche is the master of upselling. You can take a Boxster up to $100K ! Forget the 911.
