Only caveats I'd put here are: 1) there were some serious updates for the early cars (oil pump chain link, etc.) so a minus if not yet done, and, 2) if it has 415mm wheels, another multi-K$ minus IMO...

Too bad they don't have a photo with the top up and/or describe the top mechanism operation (none, or not working, or can't be used at speed would be a serious minus for me). My take from just participating here is that Strawman is one of the best names associated with such a conversion, but the conversion doesn't add or subtract much to the value.

I have a straman 512M & they are very well built

The chassis is stiffer than my 308 GTS or my factory Corvette roadster

All depends on how much you want a TR Spyder

Excellent for LA or Vegas & other desert areas

I don't know how rainy it is in NH

That car has been for sale for a long time, I talked to him and a couple of times and he didn't seem very motivated to sell, he was supposed to send more pictures and never did. He led me to believe high 40's would buy it. He also told me the car had just had 40k in service in the last couple of years...??? I've since bought a 512TR so never pursued it further.

BTW I am in Maine and the 2k+ shipping and not being able to inspect in person also made it less appealing.
