If I may quote myself from the other thread..

    ...and then the article...

Seems I wasn't too far off with the coffee

What got my attention is this:

In the context of potentially hiring Alonso, that could mean Vettel could be leaving.

Or it could mean nothing at all ;)

Alonso is is an employee, yes, and Vettel might not want him as a teammate but what sets him apart, and what LdM seems to have remembered from his last more condescending recent words, is that he's backed by Santander, which brings a lot of money. Especially now that Philip Morris is starting to tighten the belt:

    He's still no Seb.

Time for him to step aside and let Phil have his day.

Got to love this medicinal Mary Jane.

Once again Ferrari screwed Massa with their pit strategy. Otherwise he would have clearly beaten Vettel.

As for Alonso: he almost lost it under braking, a driver not fit for F1

    LOL

I can't wait for the OP's rundown of this race and his thoughts on Alonso's drive.

Oh wait...he'll wait till the next time Alonso retires or has a poor drive and then come bump the thread - and insist he's not trolling. :D

As a lad my sainted mother impressed on me the need to be respectful to my elders.
As time goes by that demographic is contracting so I redouble my efforts.

In my experience what passes for OJ in Scotland is better in the lap than the mouth.
Unless of course its been spiritually enhanced.

It was a brilliant drive -- definitely his best of the year and thrilling to watch. shame that a great performance can't turn a driver from a backstabbing spoiled brat into somebody that i'd actually enjoy cheering for in a SF race car.
