Red California headed N on Paramount Blvd in San Gabriel Near Wahoo sushi. Driving in Auto mode, and the car was realllllly quiet
Will, nice shot..you got just enough of your dash and stitching for us to know you took the pic from inside your 458 Pretty rare for two white 458s to randomly roll up, one behind the other, on the city street. It looks like the other 458 has T.A.G. plates?
Saw the same green 458 tonight on Colima Rd in Rowland Heights. Rather unusual color/wrap. A few mins earlier also saw a yellow Gallardo. Black Gallardo Superleggera on the 210 east this morning in Pasadena.
Drove down to Mount Palomar early Sunday morning for some climbing (on my road bicycle). In the dark around 6 am I saw a yellow 360 on 5 south around San Clemente. Once on the bicycle climbing up Mount Palomar on the popular South Grade ascent I saw a red 308 going up and down a few times having some good fun it seemed. Jes
Saw this Daytona Spider at an event at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena, Ca. on 8-24-13. I don't know if it came off the Ferrari line as a spider (didn't want to ask), but who cares...its a magnificent car! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I looked over my higher-def pix and I didn't get the v.i.n. in any of them. I did get a good shot of the U.S. "Vehicle Emission Control Information" certification plaque which may have had the VIN on it, but the lower portion is obscured by the hoses.
It looks like I missed some good cars at the Rose Bowl by the picture. I had Project "House" all weekend and could not break away plus the Wife was off this Saturday AM which is unusual.
I'll post a few more pix tomorrow for those who missed it. I didn't count, but I would guess the total number of cars...probably 110 to 125? About 20 Ferraris and maybe 15 Lambos. There was a good turnout, but a lot of waiting and idle time getting into the parking lot area (20 or so minutes) because there were other events going on at the same time.
Here are some of my 8-24-13 Pasadena Rose Bowl pix. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
And finally, on the way to the Rose Bowl, we stopped to meet-up with some other F-Car guys...we ended up with a caravan of 8 or 9 F-Cars as we traveled to Pasadena. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm just not sold on the spider yet....the red coupe lines look nicer than the white spider. The 458 is so aggressive that when you take the top off, I don't know....
And you lose the engine view, which is key to many. I know it is a trade-off for the articulating hardtop...but still...that engine and engine bay are art to most of us. It's kind of like putting a Rembrandt in a closet or safe.
You are welcome...sharing the enjoyment of these amazing cars is always a pleasure. I see you are also on the list for the I.E. meet at Victoria Gardens and BBQ at CNC on September 15th...it will be great to see you there! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/california-nevada-southern/418401-ferraris-exotics-classics-inland-empire-event-9-15-13-victoria-gardens.html
Is it possible that I just saw a white 918 Porsche on the 73? Are they out yet? I'm pretty sure it was!
