FA felt the heat and is backtracking. Hmmm. To little too late? In the past it would have been and he would be dropped like a bad habit. We shall see.

Reports of DR going to RB were very premature. Could happen, but not a done deal by any means.

I think history says otherwise. When you have two proven (sometimes even unproven) alpha dogs on one team, it simply doesn't work. I can't think of a single instance in modern F1 where two equally capable, WDC-quality drivers were paired together and things worked well. Button/Hamilton is the last time two WDC's were on the same team, and we see how that went.

There will always be a 'top dog' on something like an F1 team. Whoever joins Red Bull must do so KNOWING that Seb is 'the guy' and their role is to earn points for the WCC.

FA should be careful...Luca does't tolerate much and always wants to be in control, if he sees FA challenging authority and putting himself above the "brand" he'll toss him. Rumors of MS's departure in 2006 had the same situation unfolding. MS was too powerful and Luca didn't like it.

Given the lead Red Bull have for the WCC, I see Webber NOT driving all of the remaining races and the new driver doing at least 1 if not 2. Whats left of his contract is hardly a pittance for the team to buy off.

    You could be right.

According to Eddie Jordan (today on BBC), DR's contract with RBR has already been signed two weeks ago.

Eddie Jordan seems to be in the know about this sort of thing. Gives me hope for Kimi to Ferrari. I'll still believe it when I see it.

SKY said it upsets the balance of the other teams with Red Bull driving uncertainty about what the other drivers are doing/thinking etc. Keeps them off balance was the thinking(other teams). Horner continues to be clear in the press that no decision is made and they are not on any timetable. SO thats what I was hearing on SKY today. Who really knows eh?

Ricciardo spotted at RBR today doing a seat fitting.
No moves in the drivers market maybe? Seems like the RBR seat is the one link that is causing the most potential movement. Probably because its the best seat in F1....
