We have been posting in the Girl Guide Cookie spotter's thread at the poetry forum.
OK, I'll play along here. Not only did I spot this in a parking lot, I parked beside it to take some comparison pictures. A Canadian built car, from the Georgetown area (not built there, just spotted there): Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Rick I like yours MUCH better. We Canadians do a lot of great things, but building cars, really? C'mon lets drink beer and make Maple Syrup. And help Big Red distribute Girl Guide cookies. Chris
So what are the facts.....BTW Welcome to FChat, registered to FChat in September 2006 and THIS is your first post? Chris
+1 I would also be curious to know the facts......I was the one who posted that picture (I did not take the photo, was forwarded to me by some friends) and made the initial comment. But it is all 2nd -3rd hand information, so I cannot authenticate the reason or people involved in the crash. I only posted what was told to me, so I don't know what the real reason of the crash, or who's fault it was. Hopefully everyone was OK.
Your comment that the beats would come down hard would suggest guilt and or doing something wrong. At least your latest comments mentions the well being of the affected parties. FYI: one guy at the scene suggested he was in 8th gear and doing in excess of 240kmph. Really: 8th gear? 240kmph? Don't think he or the other vehicle would have walked away from that. The fact of the matter is a grey Volvo put him into the center lane of oncoming traffic.
Great second post. Typical protocol is to say, "hi! I'm so 'n' so. I own "x" exotic car or I don't own an exotic car but I'm really into the "x". Glad I found this forum and I look forward to meeting y'all at some events real soon!". Therefore, at least to me, your posts so far have ZERO credibility. For all we know, you're the driver of the Ferrari and there was no Swedish brick there. Chris
Thanks for the update on the accident... but can you just confirm the story, that the driver was the 20 yr old kid of the owner?
Maybe he is the 20 year old kid. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Could also be that this has to be kept quiet for legal reasons.
Shame about the CS. Wonder if it's the same one I saw being driven two Sunday's ago on a gorgeous afternoon in Burlington. Driver looked to be quite young.
What do you mean "was"? I really hope nothing bad happened to him..cars can be replaced, people can't..Or maybe I'm just reading to much into this..
I'm startled that it didn't make the headline news. A Ferrari, an accident, a young driver .... That is a media tri-fecta ! Would send our socialist politicians to raise a TAX on exotic owners for next year.
From what I heard, it wasn't a very bad accident. Just some front and rear damage. And for you Ontario enthusiasts... the CS was a low-mileage, local one-owner, FOO delivered Canadian car.
