Looks good but I am wondering about the finish of the steering wheel, were they finished like that in period?

The entire bodywork restoration and the paint job was actually done by Bachelli & Villa, Carrozzeria Autosport, in Bastiglia, not by FC. A new Scaglietti shortnose was also built to replace the former Drogo longnose.

FC doesn't do restorations, the vast majority of the work is outsourced.

So did Classiche or the owner engage Bacchelli & Villa, Carrozzeria Auto Sport to execute the work?

You can see what I believe is the correct wood wheel in the top pic. Im assuming it was just removed as to not damage it....

    My fav Ferrari though....Beautiful...

A series I GTO (first image) being restored too and perhaps an ex-Chris Evans series II as well?

The ex Chris Evans 250 GTO #4675GT Classiche restoration, also I believe using Carrozzeria Auto Sport, was completed last year.

The Drogo front was on the car since the sixties and as far as I know was a period one.
Not sure I would have a brand new copy of Scaglietti made, for the purpose of FC Certification.
Even if I personally prefer the Scaglietti design.

The LM is one of my favorite cars. Love the 'weirdness' of it.

Agreed. The Drogo noses are significant historically for the LMs.

I too prefer the original Pf nose.

Why did it get restored? Looks like a case over over polishing to me and yes Drogo nose should have stayed IMO.
