We just haven't seen a picture or a video. That doesn't mean much of course.

Every car that runs the Ring is on their web cam. Don't let facts get in the way of Fan Boy Fantasy.

Last I looked, this thread was about F70 vs P1 vs 918. Pity then that the only cars we have any hard data for, backed up by video evidence, are the P1 and the 918. Ferrari had better step up to the plate with a real, close to definitive, LaF soon or they will lose all credibility. The launch was so long ago, it has been consigned to history... We need hard facts and a real car!!!

    Sounds totally unfair to me.

Porsche 918 was first seen when? 2010. Just recently in 2013 the final product is released. It took that long to go from concept to product. Lets not act like the car was turned around in a matter of weeks.

LaFerrari debuted in MAY of this year!!!! For all anyone knows the car could be customer ready by this time next year. What would be wrong with that?

Why is the so much energy being spent slagging this company!???
No, they aren't perfect, but they don't deserve this level of nonsense either.

I'm more than happy to wait for one :)

A few month delay certainly won't have me turning to Porsche or McLaren ...

LaFerrari publicly debuted in early March.

If there's undeserved slagging it's on the other two with their "heavy" batteries that apparently work while the LaFerrari is having issues with said batteries (or alternately, Ferrari is just sitting and not selling cars because the car works perfectly and they want to string everyone along)

I really dont see why some of you people think Ferrari is not capable of making a car that is faster than McLaren or Porsche...every single one of them can make cars faster than this ones actually...problem is that they have to leave something for the future..and also for LaFerrari and ring. Enzo was not made to be suited to ring ad it has never been tested there as mule during the development, and yet around ring it has beaten Carrera GT which was developed there most of the time. I think most of you guys should respect Ferrari more and not talk **** about them if you dont actually know how the car goes. This forum is for Ferrari enthusiasts and people who love Ferrari and if you dont like that I would suggest you to find another forum.

Really? March is history?? This is not a website you are launching..you are the one losing credibility.

that depends. If Ferrari has simulated LaF on the Nordschleife and got a result below 7m, they are not lying when they claim LaF should be capable of such a time. If they claim a LaF completed the Nordschleife below the 7 minute mark and a LaF has never set a wheel there, then that would be something of a lie yes.

Just curious - now late in the year can someone try a record run? (Weather question). Seems like we might have to wait until next spring/summer....

Or just bust out the LaXX for a "production-derived" record?

What is going on with this car? I have neither heard nor seen any real world numbers, or have heard about anybody that even owns one and their impressions. Is it a total flop or what?

I see.. That could explain it!.. Lol

But usually by this time the PR department starts to gear up, but nothing from Ferrari or any car mags in regards to this car. I find it a bit curious.

Sounds pretty good for a Pcar.

Sounds lousy for an Fcar IMVHO.

Hate the 918 wheels design. Hopefully they offer other choices. The sound isnt bad at all but a 458 sounds better.

I'm really beginning to like the 918 even more than the pagani Huayra.
