Plate is obviously on the side-rail (see steering rack boot position).

As for the spelling of Miura, the question has been asked by several and perhaps it will be answered by the party that knows. At least now you can clearly see why the question was ever asked by others & myself, in the first place.

Thanks for posting, Walter. A man with your literary skills should have written an introduction deserving of the video/story so nobody misses it. :)

Gianfranco Innocenti is reunited with the newly restored Miura SV, now owned by Simon Kidston, that he was gifted as a brand new car by his father as a young man in 1973. See here for story and video: http://www.kidston.com/kidston-news-item/163/The-Reunion:-1973-2013

Olivier, I think you'll find that this is the Ex-Fred Lip 3177, Verde Acrillico/Verde pelle.

The renowned watchmaker had his Ferraris & Lamborghinis special-built in varying shades of green. An example is his 410 SA (below), which had a number of special features including a stashed holster for his Walther pistol!

OK, I was thinking it could have been this S dark green in need of full restoration...

No, there wasn't one in the Miura... I've just spoken to a previous owner who confirmed that and it was in grey color.

    Relax Olivier, I was joking.

You don't need a holster to carry a gun in a Miura. Miles Davis stashed his .357 Magnum under the seat. Or so the Police report says
