    Did anyone see the start of the new season last night? Everyone talks about how great Game of Thrones is, and it is indeed great. However, I think Boardwalk Empire is even better than that. It's a show for the connoisseur.

    Hmmm... none of those!? ;)

    You will need either HBO (or HBO Go, which is HBO's internet service), the DVDs, or download them illegally.

    Its highly worth watching. If you liked The Sopranos, you'll love this. The acting is superb and the attention to detail is astounding. This show is pure gangsterism.

    Paul, you are wrong. They are available through Netflix. I think the 1st seasons are available streaming and DVD, where the last season is on DVD only. I am just finishing up last season now, with maybe 1 or 2 episodes left.

    One of my all-time favorite series......

    They ARE on Netflix?! I always thought because it was HBO it wout be on Netflix. This is fantastic news as this show is amazing.

    I am on season 3 which was just released on DVD. Its a great show and I agree it is very complementary to the Sopranos.

    Game of Thrones is totally different and arguably a better series. It is certainly more popular than Boardwalk Empire. I wonder how much cgi they use in Boardwalk Empire?

    I personally never liked Jimmy and am glad he is out
