Latest rumors in the silly season are that Massa might return to Sauber for 2014.

Massa needs to hang it up. There's no point in going down the grid just to stay in F1. I'd really like to see him join Webber in sports cars....or even partner him at Porsche. I like Massa, but he's not hacking it.

If I was Felipe, I'd call it a day and go drive sports cars for Ferrari a la Fisichella. He's had a fantastic career. No reason to start driving some midfielders.

Who knows, maybe Ferrari will make a return to LeMans to fight for the overall victory

Given today's news, this thread deserves a bump.

Bye Felipe, thanks for the memories and giving us reason for these fun discussions!

Came to celebrate the victory we have wished for now for so long.

Now maybe they'll at least have a chance at the WCC.

Yes, Massa's fault. Ferrari losing championships has nothing to do with building an inferior car, bad pit calls and strategy....

He hasn't been the only excuse but reference many moments cataloged in this 3,000+ post thread started over five and a half years ago to find a lot of wasted opportunity for Tifosi to celebrate.

Great news that at least one of the two fundamental Ferrari issues of the past few years has been fixed. Bye bye Massa - thanks for coming. Enjoy the millions bagged for being a dreadful number 2 etc etc.

Now - when is issue number 2 - Domenicali - going to go???

Domenicali was instrumental in making this happen. He's not going anywhere unless it fails spectacularly.

Shame. Hopefully LDM will see sense and fire him at the end of the season. We can but clutch at straws..!

    Domenicali has found 3:

    ALO to Ferrari
    RAI WDC
    RAI to Ferrari

Certainly enough to keep him around for now. Domenicali doesn't work in Ferrari's aero department - and THAT is their main issue at the moment. My biggest gripe with Stefano was re-upping with Massa. Now he has cut Massa loose and pushed for Kimi to Ferrari.

Redeemed himself in my eyes. Now it's time to win some titles.

Other than yesterday's event he hasn't had much success of late. Ferrari has shown a willingness to stick with sub-optimal personnel for too long.

I know everyone wants a fall man, but like I said, Domenicali doesn't work in the aero department.

Personnel wise he has made some good choices. I like the Fry hire. An area of improvement would be reclaiming their favorable political "pull" in the sport. Red Bull has taken that from them.
