WTF are you talking about? I've said this is a positive thing - great for Ferrari. You're the one saying how "oh no Alonso just got pushed around" and he might melt down. Lol, Webber agrees with me. Learn to read, seriously. Just two weeks ago you were talking about how going to Ferrari alongside Alonso would be a career killer - then you have one of the most talented guys in the sport do just that. Face it you were just dead on wrong about this - you've been saying the same thing over and over (seriously, I've lost count of how many times you referred to Ferrari as "Scuderia Alonso") and have been 100% wrong the entire time. Crow has been served.
I said FA would melt down....really.....dig that up for me please. Your the Fchat stalker...go to it please lol!!
Sorry I've forgotten you know absolutely everything on this subject. Apologies. FYI the press DID know Kimi was coming, as early as the beginning of august (and full contract details that are true to the dot as evidence).
Ever consider the fact that he might know more on subjects to do with Kimi? He's normally pretty damn accurate RE Kimi.
Pekka Franck's source was an Italian, someone he trusted for years and someone he trusted so much that he had the balls to tell about the contract as a fact. Bild came out with the same thing shortly after that and Pekka contacted the reporter asking where Bild got their information. Bild heard it from Kimi's inner circle so both had different sources. It's also amusing how Bild's information came from someone overhearing Kimi talk in a night club where he was drunk. That is when I started to have suspicions about the whole thing, it could easily had been a deliberate jest from his side Pekka Franck has lived abroad for years and he is not a newbie, he apparently made very good connections since he came out with scoops about players in soccer teams, scoops that proved to be right. It's admirable that he never mentioned the Italian source by name, not even after getting a lot of heat for the Ferrari-news. Because of the disbelief it was nice to see that he never changed his 'facts' to 'rumours', he was willing to fall big time had he been wrong.
You are wrong, as usual. The F1 press as a whole thought Kimi to Red Bull was a formality. Then rumors started and we heard everything from staying to Lotus to going to Ferrari. Even McLaren was in the mix - this was all reported by the "F1 press." To say the "F1 press knew Kimi was going to Ferrari" when in reality they had no idea outside one, possibly two sources is asinine. Autosport was particularly clueless the entire time, just as an example. What you're trying to imply would be like saying "the press" knew about the Watergate scandal when in reality it was just Woodward and Bernstein.
First of all, I never stated that the press KNEW that Kimi was coming to Ferrari. The Robertsons are pretty good at spinning stories here and there. Pecka Frank had been practically screaming it off the rooftops about the Kimi deal, even noting the details (which where ****ing TRUE!). Just because the rest choose to ''ignore'' him because they didn't have to source doesn't mean it wasn't out there. Last I checked, Pecka is part of the F1 press. If Steve Robertson phoned them and told them ''we're talking to Red Bull'' of course they're printing it. I don't think the Mclaren bit was ever reported by a reputable source, more an internet rumour, otherwise I must've missed it. Was the Kimi-Red Bull thing an accepted formality? I don't think so. It was known they where talking, and Red Bull made it very clear that it was between Kimi and Ricciardo. It was also very clear that Kimi had options with Lotus, Red Bull and Ferrari. It was about a week before Red Bull announced it that it was clear that Ricciardo was going there (spotted at the factory for seat fitting), by then the Kimi/Ferrari rumours really started making sense. What is also true is that Alonso and LdM had falling out (how serious it is, no onehere knows). Alonso calling the team idiots in Monza did not help. Their relationship is strained and with the Kimi signing it only got worse. YOU are wrong. Your overlord simply prefers a teammate that is a clear number 2. Learn to accept it.
How do you know any of this? Do you know Alonso or LdM personally? This is the problem with you Alonso haters, you (and the F1 press that you blindly follow) love to cook up stories that don't exist. Alonso even alluded to this on the Monza podium. Sure he does. Most drivers do. However, you, DF1, RP and other Alonso haters have said time and again that Alonso will never allow himself to be paired with a strong teammate. Ferrari signed Raikkonen - YOU were all wrong and looked incredibly silly. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Now, here you are, still attempting to spin the same nonsense AFTER Kimi has been signed. It's hysterical. Ferrari pairing Kimi with Alonso threw a wrench in your works. It's like you're still in denial. Alonso is paired with one of the strongest drivers in F1 and you don't no what to do because your little creed of "Alonso needs a clear #2" has been blown away. He's said he is looking forward to working with Kimi so no "toys have come out of the pram." I look forward to a season without incident between the two so you can be proved wrong again. Also looking forward to Alonso showing Kimi how it's done. Cheers.
If your tired of hearing my opinions which according to you, are almost always wrong, block me then? Seems that you are one of the very few that has a problem with me, so simply put me on ignore. From what I can gather, you're pissed because I don't like Alonso and post some not so nice things about him once in a while. Grow a spine.
LOL, oh so you're back. Don't get pissy when you try to post BS and get a dose of reality. If you can't handle it, get out of my thread, simple.
Seriously - just suppose that Alonso is indeed unhappy about Ferrari signing Kimi - what would you expect him to say in a Ferrari press release? Do you think he'd announce, officially, "I hate the idea of having Kimi in the team"?! The Ferrari press releases, quotes, etc. are useless for analysing how Alonso or any driver feels about a potential teammate announcement. Holding them out as proof is really stretching!
Thanks for chiming in, Gordo. Unfortunately for your slant, we only have what Alonso says now to go off of. He's still at Ferrari, that counts for something. He didn't throw a fit and leave the team, despite the boys at Enstone saying they'd welcome him back with open arms. He says he's excited to work with Kimi. Since the 2014 season hasn't started yet, what would REALLY be stretching is to try and insinuate that Alonso is furious and will implode, considering we have not seen any example of how the dynamic between the two will be. Alonso is also quite emotional and has no issue making it public when he is upset. So far, so good.
One thing that is sure is that Alonso is not happy to get such a good driver as Kimi(the best driver in F1)as a team mate I am pretty sure that Alonso will leave Ferrari. I think that he is not enjoying his stay at Ferrari anymore and now that Ferrari have signed Kimi Alonso might leave Ferrari Which is best of Kimi and Alonso? If you ask me i say Kimi is the best
Alonso is happy, his job is driving a Ferrari Formula 1 car. And Kimi is the clear #2 driver. Alonso is the best driver on the grid, everyone knows that. Kimi is great as well but he is no Alonso.
I do not like Alonso, wrong choice for Ferrari. I enjoy when he does not win. But having said that, no way he is afraid of his teammate, Alonso with any doubt is the fastest driver in F1. His only problem according to may Latino wife, he needs to control his environment. That worked with Felipe. That will not happen with Kimi. Scared? No. Pissed that he now is really not #1, absolutely.
really? Is there anyone, besides Ferrari, Kimi and Kimi's management that does know the details of the contract? I think not. Kimi was always speculation by the press. Easy speculation given that Kimi would be a free man in 2014. The press didn't 'know' anything. Besides, don't really understand the Alonso-hatred. He hasn't really put a foot/wheel wrong when at Ferrari, where as the team let him down big time in Abu Dhabi 2010. Cost him the title. So what if sometimes a little frustration shines through?
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/f1/322606-how-place-someone-ignore.html TiffosiUSA is not a bother to me anymore. Hasn't been for awhile.
The guy is lower than whale ****. He's screwed his teams since he entered F1 to the point of gutting them for even a remote chance to advance himself. Talented and ambitious yes. But he is the epitome of slime. later on I'll tell you what I really think of him.
You really suck at reading comprehension - or you're a troll and just love to argue. Those are about the only two possibilities, based on your post above. Want to try that reading comprehension thing again? You said "Alonso says he's happy to have Kimi in the team", so according to you, that means that he really is happy to have Kimi in the team - you believe the published Ferrari press releases are absolute truth. Wait, the third possibility is that you really are this incredibly naive. (PS - I don't actually have a slant, I was just pointing out the fallacy of your argument).
