Lots of OTW spots. Saturday, silver Bentley CGT on Founders Pkwy in C Rock. Also Saturday, black Maserati GT (2003 or so) on University turning on to 1st. Then further south on Uni, black Bentley Flying Spur just north of 25. Sunday, red 458 EB on 70 up in the mountains, honestly can't remember where now, I think near Evergreen. Yesterday, orange Gallardo spyder top down SB on 25 going past C Rock, then NB gray Aston V8 Vantage just north of C Rock later in the afternoon. So, an F car, L car, A car, M car, and 2 B cars in a long weekend. Not bad.
Blue (looked darker than TDF) Cali with cuoio (?) interior coming into Aspen as I was leaving in the Spider. the car looked great. we waved. Really don't see many Fcars here.
599 GTB Alonso edition. Or whatever it's called. I saw it near park meadow mall on Monday. Red 599 near county line and university today
I spotted the Mile High Drives Gallardo, then drove alongside it for a block, then turned around to get back I-70, then Carlo drove by in the Diablo! So awesome to see it on the road. Sounded brutal just slowly taking off from a red light. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Several nice examples spotted Sat. evening in Golden at the Supercruise: Black Lambo, a black GT40, a very nice blue and orange GT40, a Red 355 and a Silver 360...those we in addition to our Mondial and the neighbor's 308. Brock Image Unavailable, Please Login
awesome! i missed the 355. but i saw everything else. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep, that is my neighbor's 308. The Jeepster in the background belongs to a buddy of his. We were all standing either near the Jeepster or across the lot by another friend's black 63 Impala. The Mondial was buried beside a 50's era Chevy Suburban precursor. Brock
Cherry Hills Village Show is a wrap! I had heard rumors of Rich having his cars there. I came, and there they were. Started raining about an hour after the show started. The Enzo and Vitesse left early, and he left his all black Veyron. I never even got to talk to Rich unfortunately. I have a lot of questions to ask him. Rain really messed everything up. But some real amazing cars were there this morning. Video: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwvINWhCW0M&lc=-cQhhDTeKzXpAky0o51nrn79WbtIJVz1yUTy5BD7Vwo[/ame] Image Unavailable, Please Login
yep. word was that the vitesse is a loaner car from bugatti until his actual vitesse is ready to be picked up. and the black veyron is his also, and the enzo. what a lucky guy. i couldn't even buy one of the lug nuts from the veyron. they're probably like $100 each
I knew the Enzo and Veyron are his. Looks like hard work paid off for this gentleman, congrats to him!
Dark gray Aston V8 vantage convertible pulling in t Park Meaows. Black Maser GS on Zbellevue. Black Maser QP I25 @ dry creek
Saturday morning around 8:30 spotted Luke in the GT40 coming off of C-470 on to 285. That was quite the sight to watch that car run up past me. Sounded fantastic. Luke, saw you hit the brakes for that Trooper sitting on the side of the road.
The in-laws are in town, so I've been taking them site seeing and we keep running into high altitude test cars. Pics are all from my phone and I didn't want to get too car crazy with the family here, so they aren't too detailed. Wouldn't mind getting paid to drive sweet cars around some of the most fun mountain roads around, but it looks like you would have to live in Michigan to do it, so its probably not worth it. One day we went to Mt. Evans and saw 3 Porsche Cayenne's, 3 Range Rovers, and a big Jag, all Cammo'd. Only managed pic of the RR's though. Next day we went to Dillon and saw 2 Alfa 4C's. Finally today, we went for a cruise up Lookout Mountain and saw 4 Alfa 4C's. Also passed a white GT3RS(I think) that was heading down when I was heading up. wow those are some awesome spots! i love the 4c's. i saw 10 of those cayennes this morning on my way to school. they were on colfax, then went on 6th avenue east. got one really crappy picture of one. i don't see any noticeable changes. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Even if you don't see anything, they might be testing systems / drivetrains / etc. I saw a Jag XJ tester the other day with no body changes but a ton of sensors on it and test equipment all over inside.
true that! it's like when i saw 10 of the brand new panameras. no real big changes, but they had wires running all over the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, I was just happy to see them. All the cars I saw had cammo except the jag that just had a few piecesof tape or ssomething on the sides. I saw a guy on another forum found some merc test cars in Idaho springs that looked pretty bad ass. One slr or whatever the smaller version will be called. As for the 4c, it looks like a great little car. I hope Alfa has success breaking into the US, but I also want resale values to be terrible for selfish reasons . I also hope they change the headlights, cause they look awful.
i would love to see alfa's for sale around here. i love those 4c's. i might have to save for one if they announce it for US
