What do you guys think of this Lamborghini-inspired garage? The color of the cabinets is a beautiful orange/pearl metallic matched exactly in powder coating to an actual Lamborghini color called "Arancio Borealis", featuring polished stainless steel frames and handles, brushed stainless steel countertops and a custom powder coating color.

The finishing touch is a porcelain sign face that is being made into a neon sign. Hard to show the intrinsic beauty of this sign once neon is lit against the porcelain face. Neon transforms an entire room.

[More pictures of this project to follow - the colors are not rendering very well on computer monitors as they should. The orange and yellow are much brighter than shown.]

I know that this item is a Porsche, but I just cannot help myself to dream about what this same concept would look like in the Ferrari Scuderia. This is a reverse-glass painted mirror that took four months to handcraft. Large plate glass was heated until it slumped into a wood form to create the shape. Then the glass was acid etched and carved to create relieving (giving it depth and the dimension) and finally gold leafing was applied from the backside (hence, the name 'reverse'). Everything was done entirely by hand. Pictures simply do not do this item justice.

Once this item is framed, it will be hung on the wall in a garage we are furnishing for a client.

I love working on these one-of-a-kind items for customers, but think I'm going to bite the bullet and just do a Ferrari mirror.

It's actually easy, just like parallel parking. My ferrari won't fit like that because of the long nose.

I'm an old Fox body 5.0 gear head. I knew that car all too well.

Late last year I tore down my attached 3 car garage and replaced it with a new garage capable of storing up to 8 cars when two new 2 car lifts are installed. The first 2 pictures show the garage at completion and the second 2 with my 4 cars inside. The actual garage doors are 8 feet tall and 24 feet wide each. Of course the new garage is both heated and air conditioned. I still have the wall hangings for the garage to be complete.
