Something does look wrong with the wheelbase but then again it could just be the angle that the picture was taken.

after thorough research (1 minute on ebay) I have come to the conclusion that there MUST have been more than one Cheetah ... also I got this confirmed by the last owners, the Smurfs but they say they have smurfed it after some smurfing... although they added some may smurface again ... Anyone else notice a lot of these models, especially John's, have a rear axle that is moved pretty far forward in the rear wheel well? Funny.
I don't know if this has something to do with the rear axle being forward of the center of the wheel well, but this thing has torsion bar suspension. Maybe more tension on the bars causes the rear wheel to pull toward the front? The torsion bars ran between the front and rear axles. I don't know much about torsion bars, but years ago I had a 24 ft travel trailer, and the hitch used 2 torsion bars. The more tension I put on them, the higher the trailer tongue and the rear of the my truck went. Maybe someone's already considered that. Just a thought. Len
Actually, side on it looks pretty centered. The 3/4 view makes it look as though the wheel is forward. Maybe this applies to Roy's as well. John
