Upgrading audio equip on 500

Any thoughts on upgrading to a more updated stereo unit, speakers etc. any good brands recommended. I don't want to hurt the value if the car, if changing out the og equipment will.

I think that as long as you don't make any permanent modifications to the car itself, do whatever you want. One of the things I liked about my car was that while it had an updated Sony head unit, CD changer, XM radio, speakers, iPod adapter and subwoofer in the trunk it still came with the original head unit, CD changer and speakers in a box.

That way, if the car ever became sufficiently valuable, the original Ferrari-logo'ed Sony cassette deck, etc could be reinstalled. I doubt that'll ever be a concern in my lifetime, but hey, at least I have the option!
