    Gentlemen,
What do you think of this one outside San Francisco?
Ferrari : Other COUPE in Ferrari | eBay Motors
What do you think of the Washington connection? How about the big plate screwed to the underside? Why do all the work on the paint and the timing belts and not adjust the carbs?
The trunk looks a bit scary as well. Any thoughts? Any red flags?
    Thanks,
    Evan

It has qv wheels someone dyed the headliner they all all white. The seats are not original. Wrong filter, thats always a sign someone that worked on it does not know much about 308's. The plastic front inside cover missing. Looks like smog stuff is missing. Also when they painted the car they filled in the holes for the side bumperettes leaaving the cut outs which look weird to me. The plate on the bottom is supposed to be there but looks like it was remade. Thats not unusual the original was very flismy and easily made better

Or it might just be covered with undercoat - hard to tell. I didn't like the antenna holes in each quarter panel, and left open?
    Wrong steering wheel.
The weatherstrips for the engine lid and trunk are wrong. The prop for the trunk lid is home made. Rear side marker inside covers missing.
Inside door release handles on backwards (easy fix).
Low reserve but hasn't hit it yet?

To Robert Garven, GT4 Joe and Lorzen,
Thank you for the information. I appreciate your scholarship.
If the seller indicated that an aftermarket moon roof had been removed, you could deal with it. As it is, however, it begs the question about what else is going on.
    Thanks again,
    Evan

    Good day,

    Given this statement:
I have to question the resto...

    - as there appears to be no drivers side carpet,
    - incorrect steering wheel,
    - the engine bay is "unique" in its color palette,
    - Incorrect oil filler cap
    - Euro bumpers but has North American side market lights and Speedometer,
    - 5989 Miles seems a bit low ;)
    - No Spare shown
    - Missing cover on Brake Reservoir
    - Ad states fresh paint... why is the trunk lid askew on the passenger side (see third pic)? I recognize that the trunk lid could be a simple adjustment... but if one was unconcerned to sort this out after doing a paint/resto I have to ask what other items are in need of attention...

Maybe the car looks better in person? But from the pics and the "detailed", ahem, description I would be concerned.

    Cheers,

    Sam

By virtue of having euro bumpers it still looks better than a US car. For the likely sale price, it seems like a car that could be repainted and restored correctly. For me, a series 1 Euro car like this is worthwhile even in the current clown suit. Of course the rebuilt title is a bad sign.

Front bumpers are series 1 Euro, rear look like series 2 Euro, larger rubber which tucks under
    Wrong steering wheel,
    Wrong rims,
    Wrong horn compressor
Front bumper looks like its taken a shot to the centre (bent)
Seats look like they were recovered, lots of stretching and waves
    carpet missing
Passenger side door trim is screwed on
Passenger side door light is missing, hanging wires
Drivers side seat piller cap missing
Fog lights don't look like Carrello's, have yellow tint
Front turn signals on a series 1 Euro should be clear (or half clear) these are amber
    Running lights need to go
Wiper arm nuts are wrong style and colour
    Brake filler plastic cover missing
    Over spray in front compartment
Front engine shield replaced with some sort of aluminum panel
Gas tank looks like it was painted black
    Fuel hose looks old
    Obvious paint wrong everywhere
    5989 Miles? Maybe 105989

That engine was rebuilt 1000m ago?

Buy it now and add $75,000 and you got a perfect EURO series 1 GT4
