    huge headache.

I topped off the F1 system with brake fluid ( Shell ub), resulting in at least the pump head failure(rubbers went bad and it won't turn).

I will replace the pump head+motor.

but I was wondering what other gasket/rubber is in the f1 system that could be damaged?

There's no way to know how much damage was done and specifically where. My first step would be to replace the fluid with the proper stuff (flush it good) and try it. There's really nothing to lose by trying it. You might get lucky and it will work.

If you need to replace everything with a seal in it that touched the bad fluid it will be expensive. The actuator and pump assemblies are not sold as individual parts. If seals inside are damaged it will probably require buying the whole assembly. Probably some things will be okay. It's impossible to speculate with any real certainty which ones.

Bad luck friend. Hopefully the problem will be with your motor only. I don't know an awful lot about the system but it seems possible that the fluid down at your actuator may not be as contaminated as the fluid in your pump so it may be spared the problems.

If the actuator is damaged I believe that there are some company in Europe offering a rebuild service so it is possible that only seals would be needed.

Best of luck with your problem. It really is a shame to potentially have such a major concern over something that is quite easy to do by mistake.

As 2NA has said, the best thing to do at this time is flush the entire system thoroughly as quickly as possible.

Always one in the crowd ready to kick someone when they are down...

As its been said, flush everything out really good and hope for the best right now. The actuator is not cheap and hopefully no bad fluid made it that far if you didn't get the car running and drive it around a while.

And the slave cylinder. The whole lot needs removing to flush all the lines etc, although you could pressure bleed the slave cylinder to save removing the gearbox. Unfortunately, i doubt the slave will last long, early on Ferrari had an issue with the seals swelling up due to cross-contamination and they changed the spec. You may be lucky with the actuator, but if it were me i'd be pushing them for a replacement. Even if it works and then goes on to last a little over a year before packing in they will put it down to wear and tear and not consequential damage.
