Photo looks photoshoped. Im sure it's a true story though.

 

Why would they allow him to buy that car when they have reportedly denied customers who are more, shall we say, in LaFerrari's "profile"?

The photo is photoshopped.

 

This could be an unaccurate mix of several true bits, maybe the guy ordered a LaFerrari, why not. However it would be a shame that the first plubicly confirmed owner would be this guy who seems to simply like expensive fashionable toys, probably not a true car guy.

As for the unusual color, it's not even mentioned in the piece of news, just two pictures of which one of them is obviously a composition. I don't know if the blue color itself is photoshopped or it's real. If it's real I find strange that blue LaF pics haven't surfaced before from any other motoring-related source. Looks great anyway!

 

I think the whole thing is a fake report. What's another Fcar that Ron has? a 599 i recall?

I thought we were all positive they had not delivered one car yet and there were still issues. I give it no credence as delivered but possibly ordered and that blue changes too much in the two shots.

 

NO LaFerrari has been delivered yet. Not a single one. They are still testing with three prototypes and currently doing long distance test drives in the greater Modena area. This as of Friday 20th September 2013. Everything else is nonsense.

Yep, I've seen them testing one week ago. Curious when the issues will be solved.

 

There is no proof that there are issues. For all we know, they are still finalising the car.

Of course we all agree on that, Marcel, but that doesn't solve the question whether Ronaldo ordered one or not. Do you know anything about this? What is your opinion? As for the sources involved (I tried to track back) and their lack of credibility/accuracy, instead it might simply be a 458 speciale that he has on order as they just say a special edition Ferrari.

Why would they deny the greatest soccer player of our generation to purchase a Ferrari ??? The best deserves the best ... O Ronaldo e o maior!!!!

 

Because it means they might have to turn down one of their top clients. He might not be a top client. And Ferrari has proven time and time again that they tend to cater to their loyalists, as opposed to pop culture stars.

Granted, I have no idea if Ronaldo's a top client, either.

 

0 World Cup titles. Weak.

Messi too, has none, but is a much better player. Less cocky, too.

And it hurts for me, a Brazilian, to say anything good about an Argentine football player. But anything is better than the overhyped C.R

There is no Brazilian soccer player with the charisma or skill as Ronaldo... More importantly he has verry good taste with cars and a nice LaFerrari ...

 

Good taste in cars? Perhaps.

Though I wouldn't want to see a LaFerrari end up this way....
