Ferrari, and many others, don't sell their cars for the same value in every market...I doubt the euro price x the fx rate will equal the us price...we shall see. I will be shocked if the Speciale doesn't cost more than a similarly equipped scud from 5 years ago...

I noticed we are currently seeing all the same pictures at the moment so I thought I would share some more obscure angles and details that I took while at Frankfurt that I guess are not commonly found just yet. Any questions let me know! : )

With regard to the boot/trunk space I know it looks smaller because of the new nose vent, however - what you can't see from the picture is that there is the same space in the 458 UNDER the 2 vents you see here and it is enough to fit a descent sized bag no problem.

The fabric I am holding is a new technical fabric they have launched for the seats or wherever you want it really, the idea is that if you can't choose between blue or red backing on your seats this literally offers the best of both and the colour changes depending on what angle you look at it - crazy stuff!

and I threw in a couple of wheel centre caps for good measure - again you can have these in literally any colour you want - you can even paint the Cavalino horse if you want! You can't tell from the picture but the yellow cap is actually painted in triple layer paint. Again, non-essential accessories but it's fun!

    Thanks :D

P.S. The Forum flipped my images upside down sorry!

Thanks for posting, i've been looking for the pic of the trunk. I forgot to open it while I was at the IAA. Seems like it has bigger trunk than Pcar.

I think t he AutoGespot colour is Grigio Silverstone - i'm confident in this because my 458 is the same colour ha ha - the paint you saw at the Atelier is a very special SEVEN layer paint from the bespoke program. £$£$£$

I wish they would give customers access to the program they have in the Atelier to spec your car - just to sit and spend some time on your own to mess around with configurations etc. The website one is pretty rubbish and lacking in options and not up to date not to mention no Speciale!

Yes. definitely a dark color for this car to hide the busy front end.

True. But I also don't like the Ferrari press images. They don't do any good to the 458S, LaFerrari and F12.

Also the Rosso Corsa is a color that has a ugly orange gloss in my opinion.

Ummm...you would be in a small minority. Unless you meant rosso scuderia.

I have recognized on the first picture that the dress of the woman in the middle has the same colors as the red 458 Speciale with the blue/white stripe ... :)

For those of you hp/$ 0-60mph types check out this drag race between a 458 & F12.

Seeing that the Speciale is only slightly faster than a base 458 on paper but in F12 pricing territory, it is becoming more and more of an attractive option for me...and it looks nicer jmho w a raging V12 to boot, yum.

Well, I would hardly call the F12 a muscle car.

Pull up all the videos by evo, drive etc., all the reviews depict a car that's poised and planted around the twisties yet insanely fast and wild on the straights.
