Hey guys, looks like the LaFerrari had an official test on the Nürburgring today. Spyshots: LaFerrari Can?t Get Enough Track Action Trying to break the 918 Spyder's record? Seems like there were no other cars on track... In the P1 video linked at the end of the F70 video, the P1 definitely looked quicker through the same areas. Presumably Ferrari is just getting warmed up though....

Anybody want to speculate on a lap time that will be released? Me: 6:58. Not saying this is real, but I am saying that if they release a time, this will be it.
918 did a 6:48 on non street tires without active aero. We shall see. So far 918 is a lot faster than I thought it would be and P1 is a lot slower.

The Audi LMP1 that won Le Mans is AWD. 918 is doing a lot of things right. It's very fast. The Key at The Ring may be tires. AWD may give longer usable tire life as even with AWD 918's tires looked gone by the end of it's hot lap. The Ultra fast Zonda turned out not to be on road rubber. All of these three may have too much potential for road tires to last a full hot lap.
