Well, I have to correct you as it is not #3177, but #4021 with the same colors scheme but a year later...

It was previously silver when good friend Neldo bought it some years ago.

Belongs since to Italian collector, now offered by DPM Monaco

4335. It used to be gold, now Blu Tahiti I believe.

The owner does much of his own work, and only finished the car and got it MOTd a few days prior to the event. Fantastic effort to get to the event. He had issues with a fiddly spring, hence the taped down boot (trunk).

 

Went to see 'Rush' tonight - which is fantastic by the way - and saw this commercial at the start, featuring a Miura:

So that's about GBP 820k hammer + 12% buyer's premium, so at the upper end of the 750-850k hammer estimate?

Joe, you are depressing me. 4170 did see some very beautiful passengers in my bachelorhood, but she was traded for a lump of coal on my wife's finger. I remind my wife that soon her wedding ring will have cost me $1M!

I am building a scale model of the AMS Miura powered race car and I wonder if that is a logo in the middle of the wide white stripe ... AMS Logo ?? Anyone has this logo so I can reproduce it on the model ?
