I have read and hear that the 458 Speciale sound in the "Presentation Ferrari 458 Speciale" video (Spain launch) was "Misfiring" or an "Electronic aftersound". What this mean and will be that the final 458 speciale exhaust sound pn the video? (Like it a LOT)
Does anyone know when the online configuration will be out I'm hoping it will be like the 458 configuration where you can literally customised and choose the options you want, unlike the terrible La Ferrari one where it is all 'pre-set' - as poor effort as the Lamborghini Aventador online config. Secondly, will anyone be getting the ridiculously chromed wheels as per the promotional shots?

Love it on black. I want to put it a stripe matching with calipers, but not sure about black body and wheels with yellow calipers and yellow stripe. Thanks for share.
I haven't been around that long. The scuds were new when I bought my first ferrari, a 2002 360 spider, but I was completely oblivious to them. Can anyone recap the depreciation curve of the scuderia's? I'll go do a search.
I predict the Speciale will have a similar depreciation cycle as the Scud (Minus the blip in the 2008 downturn).
Misfiring???? No chance...the sound of the God of Thunder is coming out of those two exhaust tips my friend...
Just look at the 458s Gt 2 and Gt3 styles. To die for. Can ' t understand why the Speciale does not looks like these cars.
I was told today by a dealer that in the eyes of an LF customer who has seen both cars, the figures quoted for the 458S are very close to those of the LF! Is that possible?
Today, on the official Ferrari website, the quoted 1290 kg of dry weight is said to be w/"optional equipment". 458 Speciale - Ferrari 458 Speciale - Official Website I'm curious what are they? Any one knows? BTW, Speciale rides 10mm lower than Italia.
On the Italia, the quoted weight was measured with the optional sport wheels and CF race seats. That gives you an idea. Most relevant light weight parts are already standard on the Speciale though.......forged wheels, CF race seats, CF intake plenum........etc, so is hard to guess what they are including on the weight claim.
Only if he was referring to the quoted weight... other than that, the LaFerrari has 365 more horses and their 0-200 kph time is more than 2 seconds apart.
