Hi we presently have a special offer on our sister web site. if you follow this link Michelin TRX Tires and buy on line. when you get to the shopping cart put the term " RubberGoods " into the discount codes and it will give you a very good discount. I'm afraid this offer will not last for ever. Dougal
correct, UK company. However, on the website says shipping is free for USA and Europe. Takes only a bit longer to ship to the USA I guess Customer Service Shipping is free for USA and Europe for Michelin and Pirelli tires. USA shipping process: 6 to 7 days Europe shipping: 3 to 4 days
It's a shame the low volume and limited market keep the prices of these tires so high. I wouldn't mind using them if I could get a set for under $1K USD. However, for the money you can a set of new rims and Michelin Pilot Sports. That makes it a tough sale for anyone other than concours types
For a perspective... Including the discount and at today's exchange rate it's $1750 (1090 British Pounds). I paid less than that for my last belts and tensioners service.
$1750 sounds like better than a 10% discount and if shipping is free it sounds like a decent offer. I'm a fan of the TRX look on the older cars. All part of being a stitch in time.
Me too, the TRX is may favorite as it plainly looks the best on all Mondials except the t. In my opinion of course. This offer is tempting but my Mondial is for sale so there are no plans for optional investments. However, I do have both sets of wheels for the next owner (my car was OEM TRX).
If you need the Michelin TRX Tires get them while the offer lasts. if you struggle getting it to work. ring us 00 44 1302 711123 we can arrange it
I have often been asked about date codes on TRX tyres. At present the 240 / 55 VR 390 Michelin TRX was produced in the 24th week of 2013
Now, if the pricing for Mondial tires were inline with these F-40 fronts I think the TRXs would sell pretty quickly. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes...I would pay $150 to even $200+ each for some TRX's for my '85. But, current prices for obsolete technology means it's not gonna happen.
My newly bought QV has them. Is it weird that I like them and the 15.5" wheels too? Luckily my tires have@50% tred left and no dry cracking ir rot. Buys me some time to decide on wheels. I'm strongly leaning to 328 16" wheels to keep it stock looking. It's a tough call, I can get the metric tires for less than "new" 328 wheels and tires. Scale details just sold a sweet set for $1500! Missed them by a week! Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
I replace tires at 7 to 8 years old (max) even if the tread is good and tires aren't cracked. Like all things rubber, tires have a life span. I NEVER take chances with tires or brakes. They are cheap compared to my life or the life of others. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=138
Hi yes i know those F40 tyres are too cheap really. i don't sell many of those tyres. I got given them from Pirelli in return for something i did for them, I wouldn't normally stock them, so i am happy to sell them, just to get my cash back. It's not that the Michelin TRX Tires tires are expensive. It is just that we presently have 2 sets of Ferrari F40 tyres that we are happy to let go very cheap.
Hi Team this special offer has finished for some time. However we are still shipping these TRX tyres world wide, and the prices have improved because the exchange rate is currently pretty good. 240/55VR390 Michelin TRX
Try the TRX-B tires. Not the same tire as the TRX. Same moulds but new, modern materials and techniques. I got a set for $519 per tire and the tires are less than six months old. Transformed the performance of the car. It is as if someone installed power steering while I had the wheels off the car. Roadholding, braking, acceleration, low speed steering and ride smoothness have all been improved. There is a marked improvement over the TRX's - and I have had both on the car. Just saying!
