He brings money. There will be open arms for poorer teams.

Mclaren as well-maybe. Sergio has not closed his deal yet and Mclaren appear to be in no hurry.

No one is talking including Felipe. He just keeps saying he has options.
Hulk didnt help his cause in practice brake checking Grosjean.

Or LeMans!! Maybe next week we will know.

I think you're on to something with McLaren. I don't like Perez and am not sure McLaren are happy with him either.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

    Brazil. Maybe Brazilian TV commentary.

I can't imagine any team would want him to drive, when there's a big pack of hungry young drivers coming up. He's got nothing to offer.

Sauber. Monisha is interested in Rubens, so I don't think Felipe would be out of the question.

If that happens the (to me way more interesting) question is where will Perez go?

With a Mexican GP around the corner, he must have a seat in F1 somewhere. I'm sure if nothing else Bernie will see to it.

    I know that.

But two Mexicans is 100% more than 1 Mexican. :)

I want the Mexican GP to be a success and the more Mexican drivers there are, the better the chances for the race to become a regular event on the calendar.

Nope. She was quoted today as saying that Rubens was never considered for even one race, much less next season. She hadn't denied the rumours prior to today because they were coming from Rubens and she didn't want to embarrass him, but finally wanted to clear things up.

I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping to see him partner Weber at Porsche.

the factory lineup for Porsche is set AFAIK. would be nice to see him with one of the factory teams, though.

It's Hulkenberg that's holding everyone's fate. Even the teams don't know. If experience wasn't of such high value next year, I'd have said he's out of F1. I'll guess Lotus or Force India. No way Mclaren.

There's nothing wrong with retiring from F1 with Ferrari. Massa is the ultimate team player, LMP1 should be calling his name. Though someone quoted Peter Sauber saying he loses concentration and makes mistakes when things aren't going well, instead of recovering. So who knows.

Ah, didn't know that. I don't want to see Massa slide down the grid just for the sake of staying in F1, so I'm hoping he winds up somewhere in a factory prototype team.

Maybe Lotus. Whitmarsh is stating he thinks they will close a deal soon with Perez. Beyond that yesterday did not help his future in F1.
