Nice! In '91 Casey Weldon lived across the street from one of the houses me and some friends rented. I was a Jr. That kid was not happy after playing these guys that yr!
That other conference creeps in even where they are specifically supposed to be excluded! Canes have an easy road for the next month or so. No stress for a few weeks! BT
My bad-I will try and maintain compliance in the future! To be fair-the ACC won a couple of close, great games. I would love to see it continue but we're not playing basketball right now!
Al Golden had these guys ready on Saturday. Looking at the schedule, I'm already nervous about an undefeated Canes rolling into to Tallahassee on Nov 2nd. Great game this weekend!
We have a LONG way to go to get to that point. Beating GT and UNC are historically a problem for us, although I would say this year we have as good a chance as we have had in 8 years or so to have a great year. If the weather turns rainy / cold for a trip to UNC or other northern school we might have some trouble. Luckily we get GT after they have two tough games so they will likely be a little beat up in my opinion. If we get to FSU undefeated this season will be considered a huge success regardless of the outcome of that game! BT
Looking forward to UCLA/Nebraska tomorrow. I know the blackshirts aren't what they once were, but I expect a tough game tomorrow. Still, I'm taking my Bruins to win in Linconl.
Being that my Nephew/God son started playing Water Polo at UCLA, I have to root for them. So, Yes, Great win for UCLA. ...and, It's ALWAYS nice to see Nebraska loss (Coming from a Canes Fan)!
After a slow start and four turnovers Miami finally got some key plays in the second half to win 45-30. The game was much closer than the score showed. I'm going to the Miami UNC game a week from Thursday. Looking forward to it! GO CANES!!! BT
GTech is better than their record-Canes will be cracking the top ten shortly when some other teams start sorting out. Imagine 4 ACC teams (if you count future member Lville) in the top 10 at once-well, at least for a couple of weeks!
I'm just afraid of Florida St. The Canes are gonna have a tough one against them! In Tallahassee! Maybe we'll see another Wide left (What would it be... IV or is it V?)
Well, I will admit I still don't know if the Noles have played anybody yet. I heard the MD D was supposed to be legit-shutting out W Virginia, etc but that was nuts yesterday-blast to watch! BC scored easy on the Noles D.....and yesterday MD puts up a 0? Clemson's real-Noles better be ready
Proud of my Cardinal. Huge win against Washington in a tight game. Looking forward to Oregon at home.
Don't sleep on Utah in Salt Lake City. It's a well-coached team that will get a marquee win this year (at some point). Their QB had a bad day against my Bruins, but he's been nails most of the season.
Tajh is the real deal and there is no question Clemson is going to score on the Noles-only question is how much. The Noles defense looked like 2 different teams between the BC shootout and the MD shutout. I preferred the shutout but I don't see anybody shutting out Tajh anytime soon.
Clemson FSU will be a great game. The ACC is doing really well this year, hopefully one of our teams makes it to the championship game, and hopefully we will win it! Miami actually has a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way except for the FSU game. I would probably have to take FSU in the Clemson game even though it is being played in SC. I think FSU's defense will make the difference. Both offenses are pretty spectacular. If the FSU defense that played against BC shows up Clemson is going to win by a large margin. BT
Spot on with the Noles' D! The Canes an the Noles have been down this path before-every game counts. Clemson is good all around so whatever happens we're going to get pretty beat up just in time to play the Canes and the Canes will be ready...I can't take another wide right!!!!! Truth is, it's just great to see all of these programs hitting on all cylinders again
Nice day of upsets yesterday. I'm convinced that Utah and Oregon St. should be ranked teams (despite OSU's FCS loss in the first game). Oregon St. always starts slow but finishes fast. Utah has been tough all season...I knew that Stanford was going to have trouble in Salt Lake yesterday because the Utes are so big and physical up front. My Bruins won their game, but it seemed a lackluster effort against team on the ropes. They need to get it in gear against a Stanford team looking for redemption on 10/19.
8 of the TOP 25 belong to the SEC, ya'll ready to come back to the thread where Real College Football is discussed?
